Aladdin is located on the right hand side of Las Vegas Boulevard as soon as you make your left off of Tropicana Avenue. It is between the Harley Davidson Cafe and Paris. You can't miss it-- It looks like a Sultan's Palace from the street.

The Desert Passage Shops are amazing. The ceiling is painted to look as though you're outside, and the facades of the shops are built so that you feel like you're walking down the streets of Agraba. The problem is that the shops are located SO far away from the hotel registration. You have to walk for quite a while before you actually hit the casino entrance, then you have to walk through the casino and go down the escalator to the hotel registration.

Valet parking is free. Splurge that $1 for a tip. It's worth it-- Especially if you've got a ton of luggage.

The casino is fashioned in an enormous circle. At either end of the casino are the hotel elevators: One set to the North Tower and another set to the South Tower. You have to get used to the orientation, or you will be walking in circles. At the center of the casino circle is where you would go downstairs to go to either the Spice Market Buffet and hotel registration. Both are located on opposite ends of each other.

There is a mini bar (which you have to pay for if you use anything), television with cable, table, desk and computer (yes, a computer) with Internet access, chairs, armoire, and two soft beds with one nightstand between them in the room. The room is also equipped with an iron, ironing board and safe.

Unfortunately, you have to pay a little extra if you want a view of the Strip from your room. In my humble opinion, it's not worth it. After all, how much time do you spend looking out the window of your hotel room while in Las Vegas?

Overall, the service was terrific.

PROS: Cozy, comfortable room; neat layout; lots to do; excellent location
CONS: being torn down soon to be replaced by Planet Hollywood

I've never stayed at the Aladdin but its great to come and visit when you are in Vegas. They have the most awesome buffet! I've tried many buffets in Vegas and this one is way better than most of them, much better than the MGM or even the Mandalay bay. As with most buffets in Vegas, champagne is included and they have ton's of different options to choose from: pasta, mexican, indian (excellent), american, salads, desserts, breakfast and its all fresh and delicious!

What a variety of stores in what seems like an endless passage within the Aladdin - It's called the Desert Passage shops. The casino is very inviting as well, and the entire resort is quite large. Right in the middle of the Las Vegas strip. Leave yourself lots of time and wear good walking shoes to shop this passage.

it has pretty much everything: gambling, good restaurants, shopping, good spa. Sometimes they even have dancers and differrent shows. It's really a fun place to be. my fave is when it "rains" on the pool.

PROS: interesting. shopping, gambling, good food.
CONS:

We have eaten at this buffet numerous times and always find it the same, fresh and very tasty. They don't fix large amounts of food to sit around. All food has quality of a nice "sit down" restaurant. This is our favorite buffet in Las Vegas!!
