While the walls, halls, and classrooms are full of art, poems, and enthusiastic pictures of children, there is something missing. It calls itself a community school and thee are some efforts from parents to reach out, but the main problem with Evergreen is the leadership. The limitations of the director, who is self directed and usually on her soap box leaves the place feeling more like Alcatraz than a playground. I left the school early due to the fact that the Director who is not a therapist attempted to diagnose my child with a behavioral/psychological condition. Needless to say, as sosn as I got her out of there she's been fine. It's a bade vibe, bad energy, the best advice I can give you is stay away.
