Best Doctor in San Joaquin County

by Anonymous

I can't believe the previous review from Carissa R. I think Dr. Hatton is the best doctor in San Joaquin County. I was disappointed when she stopped delivering because my daughter could not have Dr. Hatton for her OB. She delivered all 3 of my children. I had a great experience with her for each delivery. She is very patient and understanding. Her schedule feels up all the time because she is so popular. I'm glad to have her as my GYN.

birth story

by carissa r.

I was pregnant with my first child in 1999. I was switched to Dr. Hatton at seven months. I found that she would not listen to what I had to say, didn't like answering questions, and would at indigent if I didn't agree with her. When I reached my due date4e she started saying that she thought the baby was to big and maybe I wouldn't be able to deliver. She told me to go to the hospital so that they could insert something to help soften my cervix. This was all she told me. When I got there I was strapped down with monitors and was told that I was scheduled for an induction. I was shocked but to scared to speak up or just leave. They induced and at five centimeters I was told that the babies heartbeat was dropping during compressions and that they would need to do a csection. My mother asked if they were normal head compressions and the dr. Said yes but that if they got worse she would have to take the baby. They stopped checking me and I was pretty out of it. Later i was told that they had the operating room ready for me at 10. But they were pretty much ignoring me and at eight o'clock I came completely clear and I looked at my mom and said I think that I need to push. The nurses all started to get excited and checked me and I was fully dilated. My daughter was born at 9:58. She was only 7lbs. 11oz. the smallest of all my children. There was no reason for the induction or anything that followed. I would not recommend her to anyone especially a new mother. Luckily my other two children were born with out any of these problems.
