These women are rude, and are not consitent on what the word of giving means. I was turned down for some help last week on another matter, but they did offer me some dried food. But at that time I had already got my bread, bologna or what ever. So I came back the next week to ask for the dry food, The woman hollered out that i was homesless, and they do not provide for the HOMELESS. All i got was a GOD BLESS.

They don't help people, When I moved down here I donated alot of clothes TVs furniture, and now they want give me a loaf of bread. To the mean old ladies, Have u ever heard of a Cooler, its that thing u put Ice in.

Great place to find a treasure, love the fact that they help the needy. Thed IMP. thing to remember is that when you buy a couch for 50.00 or a coat for 5.00 your helping the poor. Back dock lady is not so nice but avoid her and donate !

They say they are here to help people in the community. That is not true the prices are to high for second hand items, and if you go next door to try and get any kind of help they are rude. Some of the workers also steal the things that are donated.Take your things to the good will because the hem is not here to help people in our community.

This second hand store is a great idea. It is not only to be able to help people in need, but also to make it affordable for low income people to get things they need.
The past few months a lot of stuff is way over priced. Old used furniture with retail store prices. Come on give these folks a break.
This stuff is donated, I donate lots of things myself. It's like the management has gotten money hungry.
Please make it affordable for the needy again.

God Bless

This is a great place to find that ONE THING you need!! They have a HUGE amount of people donating--and need them. They serve the community by using the money from their sales. I have known several people that have recieved immediate help from them.

If you are in the need of clothing or used furniture then this is the place to go. they have many used items to choose from. they not only offer used items, but they also offer counseling to those in need. This is a very caring and community friendly place.

This place is a second hand store, but instead of keeping the profits they take it and give it to the less fortunate. If you have anything you want to get rid of bring it to them. They will give a receipt and you can get a tax break. These are very nice people there, all volunteers trying to sell second hand things to help the people in the community that are in a financial bind. They also provide emergency food for families who cannot afford it. Great place. if you need to get rid of things that you no longer need then please donate it to them.

The Hem of His Garment is a thrift shop run by a conglomerate of about eleven churches in the area. It is a gold mine of used (and sometimes new) clothing, appliances, household items, toys, baby items such as strollers, car seats, etc. for low, low prices. It also has wheelchairs to lend on an as-needed basis. Bread items such as buns, rolls, bagels, etc. are often available for free for the taking (though sometimes limited to one or two per family).
