Two years ago going through my fresh cycle I was beyond satisfied! Now that i've gone through several FET's with them I am beginning to think like others about this clinic! The Dr.'s rush through your visits and are less than compassionate, with the exception of Dr. Batres! That man is amazing!!! I think the attitude of the other Dr.'s has rubbed of onto the staff! It's sad. Then i find out that the 20% portion of what "they" charge and what patients are required to pre pay is also a rip off!! Watch this!! Your insurance only allows them to bill a certain amount so therefore your portion will be less than what they have on that piece of paper! Fight this before you pre pay for any treatment!!! I think the office staff needs to be updated honeslty. You just don't have the compassion you'd expect, especially when someone is dealing with such a sad situation to begin with, we want some compassion!!! After one of my FET cycles I wasn't even offered the wheel chair. I had to walk out!! That's a no no according to one of the nurses. It's really sad that this clinic is the only one here and so therefore we are stuck with such rude people. Good luck to you all who are forced to use them.

Good luck getting them to call you back without harassing them. Watch what you pay because they have overcharged me twice. HORRIBLE! Hope you don't need anything explained. If I could rate lower I would!!!!!!!!!!!

This place is horrible. I wish there was another option relatively close to where I live. The ladies at the front desk are unfriendly and would rather chit chat with each other than check you in. The nurses are cold. She just had an "I hate my job" attitude the entire time. The doctor finally came in after waiting what seemed like forever. He wasn't very warm himself. He preformed an internal ultrasound and was so rough it was unreal. I've had one before with ease and he brought me to tears. He started me on medication to start my cycle and to try to start ovulation. That is the last time I have heard from him. That was 5 months ago. I get my blood drawn once a month. No ultrasounds or anything. I call them to get lab orders sent to my local doctor. I call them to get the results. It is almost impossible to get a call back from these people. It is so unprofessional. They tell you on the machine not to leave multiple messages, but you have to be stern to even get a call back. He explained nothing to me. Never explained when to take medication, when I should be fertile, or anything at all. Nothing but a paycheck to him! I am beyond annoyed. I feel alone. Infertility is an emotional thing for me and I feel like they don't care at all!

After a long battle with infertility, I have great respect for Arkansas Fertility. I have had many procedures, experienced joy and loss. Each stage in my treatements were different but I always felt I was receiving quality care, all of the doctors were really informative and kind. I am now pregnant and we are looking forward to our first baby! We will return in a year or two to do it all again!

My experience at Arkansas Fertility was nothing short of terrible. Thankfully I did IVF at a clinic in San Diego bc we happen to live there at the time in 2007 so I know differently and know that not all clinics are like this. If you are in Central Arkansas, I highly recommend you travel to Dallas, Nashville, Oklahoma City...it is worth your drive to interview other clinics and get a feel for how they are run. This clinic has no competition and it is obvious in the way they treat their patients. We had a successful fresh embryo transfer and I had twin daughters in 2008. Fast Forward to 2011, we now live in Arkansas. We had 4 frozen embryos. We decided to leave our embryos in CA and just do the monitoring here in Arkansas before I flew out to CA for the transfer. Prior to the transfer, I needed a hydrosonogram to make sure my uterus was healthy, normal, no growths etc...This was the third time I have had this procedure done, all by 3 different doctors.I showed up for my appt. and waited for an hour. Their front staff is so rude. They NEVER smile at you much less even look up at you when you walk in to sign in. I got called back and sat in the room half naked for an hour and a half. Not once did anyone walk in to apologize or check in and let me know they were running late. Dr. Miller walks in, goes straight to my chart and says, we are faxing these results. Never introduces himself to me, if not for his name on his white coat,I would not have known which doctor was checking me. He inserts the speculum and pinches my labia in the process, overall he was very rough. This was the third time I have had this done and it has never hurt like this before. I thought I was going to faint. This procedure is never comfortable but he took it to a new level. The catheter kept sliding out but he kept telling his assistant to push the saline so it was falling on the floor and on the table which was tilted down so saline was coming up my back. In the end, he found a polyp and I was a wet mess. There was nothing in the exam room to clean myself up with except for the paper blanket used to cover me. There are no bathrooms attached to the rooms either. After speaking to my MD in CA, I needed a hysteroscopy to remove the polyp before we could move forward with the transfer. I decided to go back to my local OB/GYN for this procedure bc I was not going back to that clinic. Had the hysteroscopy done a week later and my uterus was clear, no polyp. It was his belief that during the exam, perhaps a flap of tissue was loosened from the lining of my uterus. Based on how painful the exam was, I would not be surprised. We decided to continue on with the transfer and my local doctor would do my U/S to measure my endometrial lining and blood work. Unfortunately, Arkansas Fertility is the only place you can get a same day estradial level. So I was left with no choice but to go back and get lab work. The girls drawing my blood were friendly but that is about it. Then on my last appt before flying out to CA for my transfer I had a altercation with their office staff about my insurance. She was extremely unprofessional, raised her voice at me when I told her my insurance had paid for previous appts, telling me it was fraudulent. She was right in that my insurance should not have been paying for my appts. but the way she handled it was just horrible. She could have pulled me aside and professionally explained. Instead she lost her cool. These people need some serious help when it comes to customer service. I am so thankful to have experienced two different clinics prior to Arkansas Fertility. I highly recommend traveling...yes it is a pain but you will receive superior care. Clinics that have competition actually value your business and treat you at the least with respect. The clinics I have been to are so compassionate and bend over backwards for you. It is such a shame central Arkansas does not have more options for infertile couples. I also have friends who have used this clinic who also had bad experiences at Arkansas Fertility and ended up going to different clinics, one in OKC and the other St. Louis. I cannot stress enough, meet with other clinics and determine how to spend your money wisely!

Saw the reviews, somewhat concerned. Did wait 1 hour to see doctor, but understood the wait after the explanation of IVF. The visit was not your usual 10 min GYN visit. I thought the staff was pleasant, understood my benefits and explained before the visit what my copay would be. I am continuing my treatment at this clinic.

Me and my spouse are both physicians and understand the functioning of a clinic. We did not have any unrealistic expectations but our experience with this clinic has been very disappointing. They clinic is understaffed and disorganized. The staff is very inconsiderate about a very stressful situation like infertility and are unfriendly. The Physicians seem well trained but are overworked. Infertility is a team approach and the success rate is highly dependent on the functioning of the clinic. It is very unfortunate that this is the only choice we have in Central Arkansas.

We visited this facility as a referral from my OB Gyn and we were really impressed with the information and time they put into our visit. Yes the wait was long and we had to re- enter some information, but when you consider how much $$$ you are putting into a family, i feel well worth the time and effort. I was seen by Moutos, Miller and Batres, and my favorite is Batres, but all were informational, compassionate and worth another attempt if needed. The nurses are Great!!!! We need to under stand that these people make changes in others lives and if they have a moment of craziness, so what,,,, Smile knowing you are well cared for and paying a small price for Life..

This place is so understaffed it is ridiculous!!! The little old lady at the front desk is mean they don't smile they make you feel uncomfortable. Just my luck there is no where else to go in Central Arkansas. The nurses never call you back you ask a question and always get forwarded to the unanswered voicemail.

Unfortunately our 1st visit was very dissapointing. due to their unorganized business practices. We waited for 1 1/2 hours at which time I was told that they failed to mail me the back side of the 8+ page application to complete. Fun Times. I had also entered much of this information into their website (per their request) only to find that none of it was available when I came in. At one time a nurse stated that they were understaffed and that she was the only one there. The remaining hour with Dr. Miller wasn't much better. He had to enter all of the information into they system while he talked to us. It was very inpersonal. We didn't leave his office feeling convinced that this would be the place to spend $$$ on and what would be one of the most important decisions of our lives. We had one additional appt. and just didn't get that warm fuzzy feeling. To our surprise and dismay...they don't have much competition here in Central Ar.

My husband and I have been working with this clinic for a year. We both feel that we are fortunate to have such excellent resources in arkansas. It has been a long road, but the clinic has provided very up to date information, and we feel confident that we are receiving the finest care available.

I saw Dr. Miller a year ago in order to get a second opinion on my infertility struggles. While I felt his exam was a little rough, he was kind and compassionate as he explained my options and that I was unlikely to have kids without in vitro. He never tried to push the procedure and was VERY informed on statistics and what might/might not work. I appreciated his candor and his last remark, which was "I'm sorry you are having to deal with this." Not a comment heard much from infertility specialists.
