I have been living in SF now for about 4 years and have been with miserable luck when it has come to my hair color. I finally found someone who has nailed it. Her name is Erin and she works at Estila in Presidio Heights. She was able to correct the mess that I had and give me an awesome color. It is soooo much more complimentary with my skin. Thank God!!!

P.S. Ask about the conditioning treatment and have one. They make your hair so shiny and silky. Worth the extra money

Corinne has been my stylist for years. My hair was down to my waist. Though I liked long hair, my haircut wat not complimentary and required a great deal of maintence. For two years Corinne walked me through different styles while maintaining my length. Finally after eight years of long hair I was ready for a dramatic change. Corinne gave me the most complimentary style that met my low maintence lifestyle. She taught me the skills to style my hair, she also recomended hair products that met my needs. I love my new style! I will continue to see Corinne for I have yet to experience a stylist that was as attentive to my needs as Corinne.

I went to Katie for cut and color. She understood exactly what I wanted: a cute haircut and color that didn't look "overstyled" or require too much daily effort on my part. She picked a fantastic all over color that looked great with my skin and her cut was exactly what i wanted. The conditioning treatment she suggested made my hair soft and shiny for days. My hair was lovely and I had a great experience.

I just went to Estila for the first time! My experience was awesome! I saw Corinne for a cut and color and it turned out great! The color was perfect and my cut looked fresh, I feel like I have a style now! I've had a few bad experiences in the past at other places so I was a little nervous, but everyone made me feel so comfortable and I'm so happy with the outcome! I'm so excited the next time I go I'm gonna get a facial and eyebrow wax with Rema! Everyone was so sweet this is my salon from now on!!

I just moved to the city and noticed this salon walking around this cute shopping area near my house. I walked in and everyone was so friendly. I saw Corinne for a hair cut and conditioning treatment. She was very understanding and listened to what I wanted, my concerns and she made some great suggestions! I walked out of there with a beautiful layered cut and shiny healthier hair! I will be goig back to see Corinne the next time my hair's looking a little dull, it was a great experience!

If you are looking for a great hair cut and color go to Estila and ask for Erin. I have curly coarse hair. Erin recommended I try Keratin Complex (smoothing system for your hair). This product is amazing. It smoothes your hair and makes your hair mush easier to style and manage. Not to mention your hair is healthy looking and shinny. She gave me a great hair cut and color too. If you are looking for a professional hair stylist with experience go to Estila and ask for Erin!

If you've got curls and are constantly on the hunt for someone who understands how to cut curly hair, Estila is your place. I've always wanted to find a salon where I was comfortable enough with the stylist that I could simply walk in and say, "Do whatever you want." I found that at Estila and have never once left dissappointed. I'm also now a devoted Kerastase fan -- so curly hair girls, this is the spot for you. I also have recommended folks with straight hair to Estila, all of whom have walked out with chic, stylish cuts.

For those of you who have not had the chance to visit Estilla definately should. This is a fun, hip, enjoyable place to visit for hair, skin and nails. The owners have created a professional, yet relaxing environment to spend your afternoon. These guys have it figured out. They have been in this business for years and i have enjoyed each service I have received.

I recently lost my colorist to a move which was very stressful for me. I have since had three horrible color experiences which left me gun shy. Finally... I found Erin at Estila. She totally got what I was looking for. She was patient and listened to my needs and nailed it. Thank God!!! I highly recommend her to anyone in need for a great colorist.

I've found her. The jewel of San Francisco. Katie is my lifesaver. She changed my ratty mop into a divine work of art. Katie knows what she's doing when it comes to hi lights and hair cuts. She used this treatment on my hair that seemed to fix all the damage that i've inflicted on it. Never in my life has my hair looked so healthy and natural. I recomend her for anyone that wants to feel and look like a goddess.

While in the neighborhood I spotted a darling, small salon. Estila is bright, airy, and has a friendly environment. I was introduced to Kari, the aesthetician, who was very sweet and informative. I recieved a brow wax that was actually pain free and left me with great results. My skin wasn't red afterwards and she shaped my brows beautifully. I then returned on a later date to recieve the ever popular Microdermabrasion, this being my first time I had no idea what to expect. Kari was very patient and helpful, she had a light touch and explained the process step by step. My skin was glowing afterwards and I left feeling refreshed and satisfied. If you are looking for a pain free, relaxing expirience - Kari is the girl to go to!

I've been seeing Rick at Estila for over a year now. Each time he finishes my cut, I think: Wow! This may be the cutest haircut I've ever had. He is a good listener, but also makes suggestions for a cut that's going to work with my face...I'm so happy to have found him. Today, I also had a facial with Kari which was amazing. She is extremely personable and knowledgeable and really helped me with my super sensitive skin. Give this place a try, I'm sure you won't be disappointed. These folks really seem dedicated to making their customers look and feel great - an afternoon at estila is always a treat.

Angelina is new to San Francisco and increasing her clientele quickly, with good reason. Lucky for me, she had an opening to save me from some humiliating mockery from my friends. She rocks and literally transformed my hair from a bright orange disaster to a beautiful brunette with gold highlights and the cut was fabulous as well. If you are looking for a stylist or a change, I highly recommend Angelina. The salon has a great atmosphere and all the staff was super friendly.

They are all really nice. Rick is great. I went there with all my curly frizzy hair and he didn't complain. It's the fist time since I moved here that a stylist doesn't complain about how much hair I have, how curly, etc. I'm sure if I had asked him to blow-dry it straight, he wouldn't have said anything. Also the color was great. What I also like is the fact that the stylist washes, colors, cuts, and styles your hair. You don't need to see different "specialists" for each task.

Everyone must have an "estilista" from Estila make them beautiful!! The "estilista" that makes me feel and look beautiful is Jay!!!!! Who would have known that such an amazingly talented colorist and visionary was nestled in this wonderful oasis!! Jay's passion for hair coloring is exemplified each and every time one sits in his chair. The color, richness and texture that he achieves in one's hair is like no other. Jay is "ESTUPENDO"(outstanding)!!!!!

I've lived in Presidio Heights for years and I have just found ESTILA. I popped in last week and had the most amazing facial. The estheticians name is Susanne and she is wonderful and gentle and I can't say enough good things about her. The salon is so cute and clean, and the staff is really friendly and helpful.
I recomend this place if you need any skin care, but they also do hair too, so whatever you need, they've got it!

My color drama is over, Thank God. I found Jay at Estila and he fixed my horrible brassy ugly hair and made me blonde again, without turning my already fragile tresses into hay.

Love Estila! This is a must try salon for those looking for a stylist that will make their hair look fabulous and in style. I always feel comfortable and relaxed in this salon, I even convinced my Husband to drop his stylist at SuperCuts (!) and go to Estila. His hair now looks great and he enjoys the atmosphere at Estila. Top Notch!

Basically I am never going anywhere else is SF!! The stylists here, I met them all in this cozy environment, Erin, Rick and Viki are all adorable. Viki cut and highlighted my hair and I love it, and she is only the Junior Stylist!! The place is so clean and eveyone is so friendly. They carry great hair care lines, (kerestase and an italian one called davines I think), and I have already booked an appointment to get a facial and some waxing.
I want everyone to know about this place because it is so great and so easy!! Everyone is laid back and very focused on making the clients feel welcome and at ease.

This salon is top notch. Not only are the staff proffesional and super friendly the stylists attention to detail is so refreshing.

I walked in and felt instantly comforatable.

Erin did my highlights and Viki cut my hair, and both are so wonderful. I feel like a whole new person ( a cuter person!!).

This place is great. You need to come and check it out.

Estila has an up to date feel and look. The staff is friendly and professional. You are sure to get an up to date style when leaving and feel good about your look. I will not go to any other hair salon to get my hair colored. Erin is an excellent colorist and hair stylist.

I really liked the staff, they have a great chemstry and make their job look fun. They make you feel comfortable and relaxed as you are being pampered. They offer hair, skin and nails, which is very convenient. The atmoshphere is sophisticated but also hip at the same time. I highly recommend you at least stop by to check it out and get a manicure or a waxing. You will be booking your next facial there before you leave.

As soon as you enter the place you can feel that you will get out of there gorgeous, relaxed and pampered.
I totally love that place, it is intimate and the staff wlecomes you with a smile as soon as you enter and the decor is totally cute.
Take your time and enjoy have a hair cut followed by a manicure pedicure and maybe a facial .. why not?
All that to say that it is worth trying this place, I can garanty you will come back :-)
