The Honest Plumber

I had a good experience with this company. Plumber arrived at set time, gave me a quote for a 50 gallon heater, then allowed me to deduct $150.oo for the coupon. He took the old water heater, cleaned the area and every thing was good. I liked that they are licensed and warrant their work.

Ya these guys are a joke. I called them because of 1 their name and 2 because of the reviews well my water heater leaked and I was in need of a new one they couldnt quote me on the phone so they came on time at least and was quoted 1100.00. I asked what for they said the water heater and labor. Well the water heater was only 450 plus tax so lets say 500.00 so I asked what was 600.00 labor for well they said they had to add seismic strapping and a sediment leg which I found out where 15.00 and 6.00 respectively and takes 5 min to install well fortunetly my wife called someone else who showed up when I was speaking to the Honest or might I say dishonest Plumber and she was quoted 700.00 mmmm I think the second company was the Honest one. Stay away I think all their reviews are lies and made up look at the dates.

A friend recommended this plumbing company. Just their name made me feel comfortable! The Honest Plumber arrived as scheduled. Quote was in writing so I could see what I was getting and share with my boyfriend. I had 2 other companies also give me quotes. I was more-pleased with the Honest Plumber quote, licensing, plumbers appearance and warranty. I also spoke with the owner, Troy, to ask questions about the re-pipe needed. He was most kind and spent the time explaining to me the process and warranty. After the work was completed, I was very glad I selected the Honest Plumber. Everything went well.

We had an emergency hot water heater issue the morning that we were leaving town for vacation. We frantically searched for a company to repair it before we left. Most companies were not able to send someone out right away. The Honest Plumber managed to fit us in - they worked around our schedule and were able to repair the problem immediately. In the future any plumbing issue that we have we will definitely use them again and will recommend them to all of our friends and family. Wonderful company and wonderful people.

These guys were great on the telephone, on time, clean and tidy. I didn't have a clean out. I was quoted $150. to pull a toilet. I'm sure they would have preferred I paid to install a clean out. I could do the toilet pulling job myself in a few minutes but with a shower backed up I said "go ahead.". The fifty foot snake didn't do the job so another plumber with a longer snake was called in. Had to pull another toilet. Cha ching. The clog was cleared and things started to drain. I was continually reminded that installing a clean out was a better option, but the price just seemed outlandish so I balked. It was recommended that I buy a sewer jet job for $1700.
When the drain clogged again after a few days I called another plumber who found the clean out, installed an extension to bring it up out of the ground, found and cleared the clog AND jetted it all for $900. If it costs $150. to pull a toilet, I can only imagine what the Honest Plumbers would have charged me. BUT, they didn't do ANYTHING overtly dishonest! They were good guys and clean. I just couldn't fit them into my budget.

Water heater mess and cold water was not what I needed. I called this Honest plumber company and they were at my house within the hour. Cleaned the mess and took the water heatr for me. he gave me a good price

Not a plumbers-crack company. Clean, uniformed plumber arrived in a well-marked company van. Very professional in apprearance and nice plumber. Assisted me with problem-solving the clogged drains in the bathrooms and kitchen. He explained several options to me. I never felt pressured but instead felt he was there to help with clearing the line so family-life could get back to normal. I was given a very reasonable written price. The work was completed as agreed upon. I was very impressed with the service provided.

There was no extra charge for night service. I wasnt looking forward to taking a cold shower. This company replaced my water heater at 11:00 at night. I didn't have to pay extra for this great service. Thank you Honest plumber for helping us.

I had estimates from 2 other companies --Honest Plumber was most reasonable. I trusted their plumber --very clean and professional. I was impressed that he was on time. He hauled away the old water heater and cleaned up the mess it caused. Very helpful to a senir citizen.

Every toilet and drain was backedup with no chance of draining. I tried to fix it myself using a snake with no luck. Honest Plumber came out after 7:00 PM to rescuse me and the family. No extra charge for after hours and great service. Wife is a teacher and we got a discount.

Wife put too much down garbage disposal and it became clogged, backed up both sinks and leaked all over kitchen floor. What a mess. Honest Plumber came out at night to clear the drain. Mark left the area cleaner than he found it. I will call them again.

Our upstairs condo had a leak that the owner below told us about. I feared a very expensive repais -- ceiling being removed, looking at pipes and whtever else. Honest Plumber took a look and within seconds figured out the problem. No holes in the ceiling. He replaced something in the bath tub and calked it for me. Fast service and very honest. I was lucky as someone else would have charged me more saying it was worse than it was.

I had a water leak from the meter to my house. The city said I was responsible. First company gave me a price that was more than I was willing to pay. Honest Plumber gave me a reasonable, fair price. great service.

I found this service on the Internet and was impressed with the fact they I called on a Monday evening around 16:30 and described my problem with a water conditioner and had an appointment for the next morning. The nice young lady indicated the appointment was scheduled between 9-11am. Tuesday morning promptly at 9 am Darren arrived and evaluated the water conditioner and the hardness of the water. Darren provided pricing for a high end and middle range water conditioner replacement. Darren replaced the water conditioner, took the old one away even with the unused salt pellets, left the garage spotless. I was very impressed with the promptness, service, and professionalism. I have already recommended this service to a friend.

Coming home from church today, Sunday, our family found the water heater left water in the hallway, bedroom closet and garage floor. With a family of 4 children and all the laundry, bathing and dishes that require hot water, I thought I would have to wait until Monday to get help. The Honest Plumber immediately came out, did not charge me extra for a Sunday call, and replaced my water heater for a wonderful price. He even helped clean the mess in the garage and took away the old water heater. Very nice service at Honest Plumber. I highly recommend this company and want to share this with others.

Two other plumbers said I needed $4,500 to clear my mainline from the tree roots. Honest Plumber showed me where the problem was with their camera, gave me a written cost to repair the line that was way below the other 2 men, and cleared the line. I was happy I saved big money with the Honest Plumber. My church friend recommended them and now I know why.

It is a pleasure to write a review for the Honest Plumber. I saw their ad in the yellow pages and liked that they were with the Better Business Bureau. I did research their rating --an A+. Then I called them and shared my issue with the water heater and filtration system. An appointment was made to meet my needs and the plumber was on time. He was very clean and professional and diagnosed the problems and explained them to me. The agreed upon price was in writing. I felt very pleased with the service and will use them again.
He treated me with respect and allowed me to be an informed consumer -- which I appreciated.

While I was out of town, my wife contacted several plumbing companies to fix the clogged toilet and shower in our master bedroom. Bids from 4 companies had a span of $3,500. in price difference. The Honest Plumber representative explained to her the problem, put in writing the cost and warranted the work. Not only was Honest Plumber the best price but the representative was the most thorough in explaining the problem. They are with the Better Business Bureau which sealed the deal for us. We were very pleased with the service she received from the Honest Plumber.

I had great service from Honest Plumber. They were on time and gave me a competitive bid -- 1 of 3 from licenszed plumbers. I had Honest Plumber clear the toilet and shower line. I liked that they warranted their work, gave me a written price. Very nice plumber.

I love the logo on their truck!!! and the fact the plumbers wear clean uniforms with the company name on them. I knew who they were when they arrived at my house to replace the waterheater. I chose them because they have a A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. I will call this company again. Reasonable price and wonderful service.

I recommend Honest Plumber to everyone in need if a plumber and wanting great service, clean plumber and a fair price. They are licensed and bonded --which was of comfort to me. I also checked them out on Better Business Bureau -- they are a member in good standing. I knew if I had a problem with them, I had recourse. Honest Plumber was on time, plumber was clean, cleared the line with a jet, and gave me a price I could afford and thought was reasonable.

Honest Plumber is True to it's name!!! Honest Plumber technician was on time, shared with me what the problem was and gave me a written quote. I never felt pressured -- more reassured I had called the best plumbing company. The leak was wasting a lot of water and needed to be repaired. Very fair price for the repair! Plumber was very clean and professional. I recommend this Honest Plumber company to anyone. I liked that his truck was clearly marked with the logo. It helped me in knowing this was a legitimate company that would stand behind their work!!!

Drano and a plunger didn't fix the toilet and shower problem. Honest Plumber came out and cleared it. Fair price and great service. I will call them again if I need a plumber.

This is the BEST company ever. I had a previous estimate of $6,200 and Honest Plumber came and told me the truth and it ended up being a completely different issue. WOW.!!!The water damage came from my air conditioning unit and Honest was 110% honest. Im a single mom and money is hard to come by. Thank you for not taking advantage.

Finally found the plumber i have been searching for! Had many disipointments in the past, lived in my house for 25 years and had many plumbers here and never liked one! Thought I would take a chance and call the honest plumber (almost didn't) just because of the name but WOW! they really are! This is the first time a plumber didnt try to take advantage of me, he cleaned up very nice and even sat with me to visit. He was a gentleman and now that I know theyre good I will finally have my bathroom redone. Thanks honest plumber!

I was very dissatisfied with the two so called "plumbers" that were sent to my home on March 9, 2009. I had a backed-up shower drain, most likely a clog in the main drain. We have no clean-out line outside the home that we know of. These two refused to remove our toilet(s) and refused to snake any pipe. They concluded the only solution was to dig a hole outside the foundation and tap into the main line to put in a clean-out access and then pressure blast of the pipe. The estimate was in excess of $1,100. We had another company come out the next day and totally cleared our system for a couple hundred dollars. I was just amazed that your two plumbers resisted any alternatives I suggested to them with one excuse after another. It was quite apparent to me that all they wanted was to perform the most expensive job possible. I'm sorry to tell you that this cost your company a client. I feel they were less than "Honest"

The only thing this business has going for it is a nice pleasant voiced secretary and a fancy truck. Their estimates are way out of whack. If you need a water heater I would suggest Sears.

It isn't very often you get courteous and honest service from contractors, but Honest Plumber delivered! He worked efficiently, didn't waste my time trying to figure out the problem, and was very fair on what the charge would be. Now only if I could find a mechanic like Troy!

The Honest Plumber has competitive rates with experienced staff. The plumbers don't try to charge you extra for their services, and they are very helpful in answering any questions that you may have about what the problem was, and what they are doing to fix it.
