I love this place. Everyone is so nice and professional. My skin has never looked better..I get facials (peels, microderm) once a month and use their product line for my home care. I also try to get a massage and nail services as often as I can. I really like the Ashiatsu Massage which I had never had until I went to Synergy. The therapist holds on to poles in the ceiling and uses her feet to massage you. Its the best deep tissue massage I have ever received. I usually get the monthly manicure pedicure special but my husband gave me a gift certificate for a hot stone pedicure and that was truly amazing! It is very clean, the decor is beautiful and relaxing. I am so happy to have such a wonderful monthly escape...moving from the west coast it took me awhile to find Synergy but now that I have there is no where else I would ever go! Thanks Synergy

I have had a couple of facials at Synergy. I had 3 with 1 girl, and my 4th and final with another. The first 3 I had were fine, the 4th one I had, was with a girl who was new. I left the spa, and was sure, that the next day I would have bruises on my face.My face hurt, it was red , and I was scared to look in the mirror in fear that there would be spots bleeding. The towel she put on my face was steaming hot, burning my face. I have nice skin, have never had any problems with it, never any acne, have very few blackheads, this girl acted as if I had the worst skin she had ever seen. Told me if I wasnt doing my extractions at home that I should be. She solely ruined my experiences at Synergy and I will never go back. I am not impressed with the sales strategy involved within the facials, recommendations on products or procedures at an attempt to upsell. My facial was supposed to be 60 minutes and when I walked out of there the girl had rushd me through in 45. Needless to say I wont be back. Everyones experience is different so if you chose to try it out I hope you have a better one then I did.

I went to Synergy Spa for the first time on Monday I have been to other local not so good spas but this was a "GREAT SPA" experience. I would highly recommend and be sure to ask for Amanda she is the "BEST"!! Oh when they say 60 minutes they mean 60 minutes and don't rush you like some of the others do!!

Although I never actually ended up purchasing a spa and massage package here I wanted to give a positive review to this spa because of the great service I received here. I was looking for a gift and wanted to get a spa and massage package to pamper her after all the hard work she has been doing. I went to about 6-7 place in the Triangle trying to find the right spa. I had unique requirements for the spa and wanted a place that would meet the religious requirements I needed from the spa. Out of all places I went Synergy Spa was the most accommodating place. They were willing to rearrange there room layout and staffing in order to accomodate my needs. It was so refreshing to see.

The rooms the massages were given in where pristine, very clean and the ambience was very relaxing. They offer a variety of massage techniques and will tailor a package to meet any need you have.

At no point did I feel rushed or pressured into making a purchase. The only reason I did not go with this place was because they were booked up for the day I wanted. I guess that what you should expect from high class spas.

I've lived in the Raleigh area for almost 10 years and tried a number of different day spas; Synergy is definitely my favorite! Monthly specials usually feature a seasonal ingredient and theme and are a great excuse to try something new. During a wax, one of the employees recommended the Jane Iredale makeup to me...she took the time to give me a quick ""mini-makeover"" and explain the products...I was very impressed she went the extra step and gave me such individualized attention. Their attention to detail and customer satisfaction has made me a devoted client!

Pros: Customer service, location and parking, product lines, value

★★★★★

i love synergy spa!! everytime ive gone i leave feeling relaxed and pampered! ive never had any problems getting an appointment and the staff is amazing!! i recommend synergy spa above all the rest!

Pros: everything about the spa is amazing!!

Cons: its kind of far away from where i live but its ok!

the salon is a little noisy. This was distracting during my massage (talking / papers shuffeling in the the waiting room )\r
they give discounts for people to write positive reviews. so keep this in mind while reading reviews.

Pros: good specials

Cons: not a quiet / relaxing atmosphere. They don't use steam for facials- not very good results.

★★★★★

I have really enjoyed my visits to Synergy Spa! The massages are amazing as well as the microdermabrasion! The staff is so friendly, they really helped me with picking my skin care products!\r
They have awesome monthly specials as well as drawings that I have entered and won tickets to a play in Raleigh!

Pros: Friendly & Nurturing

I have been going to Synergy for about three years. The massages are the best I've had in town and the add on services are great too. Stop in for a mani/pedi or take a little extra time for a spa package - trust me it's worth it. Staff is always nice and personable.

★☆☆☆☆

I felt that the customer service in this spa was extremely poor, and unfortunately the spa was not clean during my visit either. Would not recommend this place at all, it left a very, very bad impression.

Pros: Unclean spa; poor customer service, will definitely not go again! Too many problems

★★★★★

Syergy Spa provides excellent customer service. I recently encountered an abrasion which showed up following a service, which I communicated to the spa owner. She immediately responded, and although it was not obvious as to how it happened, she asked her lead technician to provide healing therapy and offer the service again. I accepted, and they have been extremely satisfied with how well they handled the situation. They did not cut any corners, and fully provided what I'd originally came in for. The treatment was fantastic! The aesthetician discussed options with me prior to starting and we selected the best choice for my needs. We discussed the best choice for services going forward, and professional products to help in between visits. Their knowledge is as important to me as is the quality of the service. I will return for treatments in the same category as well as other services they offer.

I have tried several other day spas in the Raleigh area and came to Synergy for the first time recently on a recommendation from a friend. I had one of their specialty pedicures done by Miranda and was THRILLED with the results. No one has been able to get my feet that smooth and hydrated before. I booked with her again recently for one of Synergy's mani+pedi specials and again got great results. I'm scheduled for a facial with Jessica and Brazilian wax with Miranda in the next couple of weeks. The front desk staff is helpful and friendly. Once you get inside of the spa you really forget where you are. It's quiet, calm, and relaxing. I am so happy to have found my ""spa home"" here in Raleigh. I would highly recommend Synergy to anyone looking for a top quality spa experience!

Pros: Quality of service, staff, pricing

★★★★★

I've been going to this spa for several years and love it. Waxing services are reasonably priced and the spa itself is very relaxing. The staff always manages to fit me in, even at the last minute!

★★★★★

Syngergy spa is a great place - the staff is friendly and does a great job. They made my first wax experience a very comfortable one. The atomosphere is very relaxing and clean. I would definitely recommend Synergy!

★★★★☆

I have been researching facials for a few weeks now, as I've never had one before. Synergy Spa seems to offer the best deals and has the best feedback for any other spas in the Triangle. I'm looking forward to my first experience--will definitely post feedback once I make my visit to Synergy!

Allison and Georgia are both fantastic. They are thorough, detailed, helpful, and talented. Synergy is a wonderful place to experience a one hour getaway. Well worth it.

★★★★★

I've tried MANY different spas in Raleigh/Durham over the past few years, and all left something to be desired. I found this online (I was actually looking for something near Hereghty Bakery), and tried it because of the rave reviews. They weren't wrong! I went with my two best friends - our first excursion together in over 2 years, since all 3 of us had babies. As I found it and made the reservations, I was a bit nervous....because if they had a bad experience, it would have been a reflection on me. First of all the atmosphere is fabulous. Very well decorated and serene, with an 'inner' waiting room and lockers. Two of us got the spa pedicure - I was first of all pleasantly surprised by the room....no tacky vinyl vibrating chairs! There are custom, very plush couches, with beautifully tiled basins. I was afraid since we were sharing one technician, she would rush thru one of us to get to the other. We had Samara - and she was absolutely excellent. She gave us each our full our, and honestly the best pedicure we've ever had. I also loved that she talked with us when we initiated conversation (and was very fun to talk to), but didn't when we had our eyes closed and wanted to relax. Our friend had a massage with Georgia (whom she raved about), and was able to come into the room and sit and chat with us for the remainder of our time there.\r
We all 3 had gift certificates (which can be touchy at some places) - but checkout was a breeze and the receptionist was great. We all made appointments to return before we left (I'm going this Monday for my first massage in 5 years - I know I won't be disappointed). \r
If you go, definitely go next door for coffee and chocolate dessert - it made the whole afternoon perfect.\r

Won this day at the spa at a gala this spring, and looked so forward to taking my time there. Enjoyed a wonderful pedicure and manicure, and treated myself to a highly eyebrow wax, to boot! All very good service and relaxing atmosphere. No pressure anywhere. I look forward to trying them again, soon for a nice massage!

Pros: So far, all pros!

★★★★★

I have been looking for a great spa in the Raleigh area for 5 years now. I've been to a few others that were just ""OK"" and then had a few people recommend this spa to me. So I've made my first appointment for this week which I am looking forward to!

★★★★☆

Looking forward to first visit to spa, have heard some very nice things from others about it! Hoping to go in the next two weeks.

★★★★★

I have been to many spas in the triangle area, and this was definitely my best experience. The waiting area is peaceful with dark wood and several beverage options. My treatmeant was a combination massage-scrub that lasted for 90 minutes. The therapist was excellent with catering the pressure to my needs, and even gave me the leftover lotion to take home for an extra hydration the next day! I'll definitely be back!

Pros: excellent therapist, good ambience

★★★★★

The spa was great! Very clean and the customer service was excellent!!! \r
The atmosphere is super relaxing! It makes you not want to leave...\r
All in all its a great place to relax and get away for a while... We also went to there last night and were informed by the ower about the some of the products that are used and we even got to sample some of the services they offer.!! It was wonderful and informative!! We loved it to say the least!!! Oh they also gave out goodie bags and had some pretty tasty food. Everyone should have a getaway here at least twice a year!!!!!!

Pros: Staff is great!! It is relaxing inside, and you just feel better afterwards

★★★★★

So I have never been to a spa and really didnt think that I would have an interest in spending money at one. My friend for her birthday went to Synergy and said it was awesome. Then they had a summer skin care event, which I was basically dragged there by my friends. When I got there we sat down felt a litle weird at first but then I got use to it. They had complimentary food and free services. It was GREAT. The staff was very friendly. They went over the basics of some skin care and then gave us a free consultation and a hand facial and a good bag as we were leaving. The place was very relaxing and everything was kept neat and clean. I am already planning to go have a day at the spa, and I will do it at Synergy.

Pros: Friendly, Informative, Cleanliness, Service

★★★★★

I go to the spa every year for my birthday. The staff is wonderful!! It is a very relaxing experience and everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Pros: Awesome experience

Cons: no cons

★★★★★

Just would like to say that Synergy Spa has exceeded my expectations. The massages I have received at the very gifted hands of Amanda have alleviated the pains I once suffered with for years. Swedish massage/deep tissue massage has changed my life. The personal interest taken by Amanda and her spot-on recommendations have helped me physically to get to a better place. Synergy Spa's relaxing and calming atmosphere is the best in the Triangle.

Pros: Ambience, Personnel, Competence

★★★★★

synergy spa was such an relaxing experience..i had a wonderful massage by Georgia..I highly recommend her and the spa to anyone who is looking for a nice little get away!! It was easy getting my first appt set up..no hassle. loved the citrus water i had before and after my massage..good location..i already booked my second massage..i am so excited!

Pros: good location

There is NO need to drive out of the triangle area anymore for a great massage. The interior design in Synergy Spa is very elegant and calming. The soothing music played throughout the spa is so relaxing. The massages are amazing. I've had two deep tissue massages- and the massage therapists were very professional and receptive to sections of my body that needed more attention. The staff is great and the technicians for beauty treatments are fantastic. I will only get my eyebrows done at Synergy Spa now! :-) \r
\r
Escape your stress and treat yourself to a spa day!

Pros: Great monthly specials, wonderful massage therapists!

Cons: None!

★★★★★

Being new to the area, and a regular spa goer in both Arizona and California, it took some time to find a place I really felt ""at home"". I tried a few of the local spas before researching and looking for recommendations. The reviews I read here prompted me to come for a visit...and I was skeptical, but the reviews really speak the truth about Synergy. Client appreciation, being greeted so warmly, fantastic services that truely are special, emaculately clean, ...I could go on an on. I loved it and will be back often.

Pros: top class treatments, friendly and caring staff, calming...and so clean.

Cons: wish they were located closer to my house

★★★★★

Synergy spa is one of the best places to go and receive excellent care. They know their product and also are current with all of their techniques. Synergy makes you very comfortable when you arrive. You feel instantly when you walk in that you have been a client for years. The staff at Synergy Spa have customer service down pat. It is a true spa experience. My husband is also hooked. We both went to receive facials and couldn't believe the results. My skin has been fabulous since then. Thanks Synergy!!!

★★★★★

I had the swedish/deep tissue massage. It was a wonderful relaxing experience. My massage was done by Amanda and she was just terrific. I would go back in a heartbeat. I am going to call and get another appointment today. Loved it!!!

Pros: Everything

Cons: Nothing

★★★★☆

I had a great experience when I went for my massage. Even though I was late, they were understanding and still I was able to get my full massage. Customer service was great.

★★★★★

I have been living in Raleigh for 6 years now and have tried every spa in town from Jolie,Iatria, and Aveda. The main spa service that I utilize is the nail services for manicures and pedicures. You would be surprised on how hard it is to find a good nail technician. Synergy has a relaxation room to unwind before your services. The spa is always clean and staff super friendly. I would highly recommend for anyone who has not tried out this spa to give it a try. You will not be sorry!!

Pros: location, parking, ambience,service

★★★★★

All the staff at Synergy Spa have been excellent! They really get to know you and what is going on in your life - esp stress points :-) They really care about your total well-being. I have been going there for years and I will continue to do so.

Pros: Great parking and ambience

★★★★★

I have been looking for a good spa in Raleigh for the past 2 years. After trying out many different places I was highly impressed with the service that I received at Synergy. Not only was the spa nice and the service good everyone that worked there was very pleasant. I will definitely be coming back and referring to everyone I know.

I have been a cosmetologist for seven years. I have worked at many different places and I must admit this is the best. Anna is the owner and she really tries to get new and innovative services that you just can't get anywhere else. The staff is great and is specialized in many different things. You can't go wrong at this spa. I have recently moved to Atlanta and have been looking for that kind of feel. Thats a hard thing to do when you come from something that really is high on the list. I would recommend this to anyone. If your looking for a job this is something you should check out. It is a great opportunity. If you have never been to synergy you need to check it out. They have gotten the Metro Magazine ""Best Of"" award 3 years in a row that should say it all. Thanks for such a great experience. Can't wait for synergy to come to atlanta(hint hint)jk.

Pros: staff, quality, and experience

★★★★★

This is the first massage I've had since moving here from So. California, and I know I've found a place I'll go back to again and again. The Swedish Massage with hot stones was amazing.

★★★★★

I moved to the area 4 months ago and have been looking for a place to get my facials and on a recommendation (and seeing the reviews on citysearch) decided to try Synergy Spa. I am so happy I did! The therapist (Jessica) is excellent. She was very professional, knowledgable, and sincere. Her friendlness made this an especially rewarding experience for me. I'll be back and look forward to other treatments. I was unrushed, unpressured, and most importantly listened to.

Pros: great atmosphere and wonderful staff

Cons: fantastic pastry shop next door too tempting

★☆☆☆☆

All the services I have had at synergy were good, and the people performing the services were great...i liked the atmosphere, etc. BUT, because of certain problems that could have and should have easily been taken care were not, I do not recommend going there, and definately don't buy anyone a gift certificate at synergy (i'm sure there are much better spas where the owner actually calls you back when you have a problem). i called multiple times after my boyfriend got sick after having a massage given by a sick therapist...who should not be at work if she is sick and possibly contagious...anyways, the owner NEVER responded to my multiple phone calls. to top it off, she actually had her receptionist lie to me and tell me she was in a meeting in order to avoid confronting the situation. i would advise the employees are synergy to find a new spa to work at. they're great, and it is too bad they have to work for someone who doesn't know how to run a business, or just doesn't care about her clients...now former clients

★☆☆☆☆

My wife and i went to Synergy for massages for our wedding anniversary 18 months or so ago and I'm still in constant pain from what they did to me! After many trips to orthopedic specialists and physical therapists and too many prescription pain-killers I still wish I could have charged this place with assault for what they did to me! Don't get a massage here; they will hurt you! Consider yourself warned!

Pros: Nice atmosphere

Cons: severe injury, constant pain

★★★★★

Having lived on the west coast for 10+ years, I became spoiled for day spa services. After searching around the Triangle for 5+ years, where something always seemed to be ""missing"", I've found my place! I booked a facial and was undecided about which add on service I wanted -- peel, microdermabrasion, etc., so just picked one at random. After a flawless check-in, a relaxing cup of blueberry tea in the lounge (which the staff allowed to cool just a bit so it wasn't scorching), and taking in the soothing atmosphere -- dimmed lights, light music, warm colors -- my facial lady appeared (sorry I can't remember her name right now). We went into the treatment room where we talked a bit about what results I was after, she took a few minutes to look at my skin under the lights, and she recommended a different add-on than the one I chose, which was actually *less* expensive. The treament was fantastic, lots of little ""extra touches"" like full arm & hand massage that left my skin soft and glowing, and the skin on my face looked dramatically better from when I walked in. Had another cup of tea in the lounge while she (at my request) pulled some of the products she used and placed them up front. She spent several minutes with me going over the products, and I picked two to bring home (which I love). I've already booked my next appointment and plan on being a regular customer. Can't wait to try their other services.

I went and got an Allergy, Sinus Tension Relief massage. Tip: make sure you know what you are making the appointment for. Both the receptionist and the therapist thought the massage was 30 minutes when it says on the website 45 minutes. I would not have booked it at 30 minutes. It was a very good massage. I have already made my next appointment.

Pros: Great atrmosphere and aftercare

Cons: The staff doesn't know what the website says.

★★★★★

Very relaxing atmosphere... nice music, dim lighting, herbal tea. All employees are very professional and experienced. Open on Sundays. Never had a problem making an appointment.

★★★★★

Although this spa is located in a strip mall the atmosphere inside completely makes you forget that. It's very calming and relaxing. I've only had the massages and manicure/pedicures but they are wonderful. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and never make you feel rushed. Everyone takes the time to talk with you and tailors the service to your needs. Even if you're rather vague as to what you're wanting, they'll go out of their way to suggest what you might like and why. Although I can't afford to go as often as I would like to, I feel it is much better to go here infrequently than any where else more often. I love the fact that extra time is built into the services, especially massage, so that you don't feel rushed out the door when you're done.

Pros: Massages, Manicures, Pedicures, Staff

★★★★★

I try not to indulge myself too often but this place is great. Since it is in a small strip mall I wasn't expecting much but the atmosphere inside is very posh and relaxing. It is smaller than some other places I have been to which in my opinion enhances the overall atmosphere which is cosy and inviting (and very clean) . I have only tried the massages (90 min Hot stone is amazing!) and manicure/pedicures but all of my experiences have been excellent and better than I have experienced elsewhere in the triangle. Highly recommended!

Pros: great service, relaxing atomosphere

Cons: hard to resist pastries next door at hereghty's heavenly delicious!

This Spa is wonderful...I can honestly say that I no longer need to head west to Asheville or south to Pinehurst for a day at the spa. The prices are fair, and the service is delightful. I can't wait to make my next appointment!

Pros: Service, Staff and Treatment options.

Cons: Does not have a real lounge area.

★★★★★

Very friendly staff. Talented massage therapist. One of the best deep tissue massages I have ever had. Enjoy.

★★★★★

I came in for a massage a few weeks ago and I have to say this was by far, the best massage I have ever had. My experience with massage therapists is rather extensive, having gone to numerous spas on the west coast in the past...Garrie (the therapist at Synergy) left me totally refreshed and was so exacting with his technique and skill. I have come here in the past for other services which have consistently been outstanding. I HIGHLY recommend this spa for any service but am extra estatic to have found a place where the environment is unpretentious, simple yet elegant and with a staff as professional as this. The front desk personnel was also very helpful in making the proper recommendation to me. Kudos to whoever created this wonderful retreat.

Pros: Quality of service; results focused; beautiful and calming environment; great value

★★★★★

I received a gift certificate to Synergy and just redeemed it. I had a fabulous swedish massage with hot stones from Amanda. She did such a good job- I was totally relaxed and comfortable! They used several extras that I really liked- the room smelled great and a warm aromatherapy eye and neck pillow at the end were a great finishing touch. I actually think that my treatment went over by 15 minutes, which is great- definitly not rushed. I was so blissed out at the end that I don't think I said thank you properly. I would recommend trying Synergy!

Synergy is the closest thing I have found to California Spas. The treatments are very progressive.I like that they are always on the cutting edge. The Spa is also a place where you can truely relax and not feel overwhelmed or rushed. The staff is also amazing. Anna has done a wonderful job with both. Thanks!!!

★★★★★

I work across the street from Synergy and never knew it was there until I received a gift certificate from work. I decided to use my gift certificate for a pedicure and it was wonderful! The atmosphere is so relaxing and my pedicure was fantastic and lasted for weeks. That was almost a year ago, and I've been thinking about that place ever since! I finally decided to pamper myself and schedule a facial. Well, it's only been 2 weeks and I cannot wait to go back again. It was the most relaxing and fabulous thing I have ever done for my skin. I had an appointment with Danielle and she really took the time to talk with my about my skin and my concerns - which include dryness and rosacea. She picked my treatments based on this and did not do anything that would irritate my rosacea. She recommended one product instead of trying to change my whole routine, so that we would know if it was helping my skin. It's been almost two weeks now and my skin is not dry at all. I can't wait to go back for another facial. I highly recommend Synergy!
