Deep cleaning for periodontal disease was done in two parts. The first part went off fine, the dentist was careful to numb my gums with a gel completely before administering several Novocaine shots, which were uncomfortable but tolerable. The drilling was not pleasant but there were only a couple of spots that seemed to be especially nasty, and I was warned ahead of time. I had a headache for 4 days afterward, but nothing crippling. I was going to write a 5-star review based off of the first visit, but I am glad I waited until after the second, which went on a bit like a nightmare.
Second visit, I was to receive the same 5-6 shots in the other side of my mouth. About 1/4 of the time was spent on numbing the gums at the shot site as had been spent the first time around, and I was advised I would feel a 'pinch' in my gums. I felt an incredible shock in my gums, like a knife in my mouth and I felt like maybe I had been tazer gunned, like several thousand volts were being sent through my face. I screamed, but the doctor did not stop until I screamed a second time. When he asked what was wrong it took me a few moments to gather my thoughts, I really felt like I had been electrocuted - was nauseous, dizzy, shaky, and the shot site was in an incredible amount of pain. When I explained to him that it felt like the needle was coming through my lip and that I was being electrocuted, he assured me that it was 'all in my head' and went on with stabbing me. I could tell that there was something very wrong with my Novocaine injections, and though I have had numerous piercings, tattoos and the like, many in my lips (and therefore not shy of needles), something went off badly enough that I had tears running down my face in spite of my best efforts not to.
The mis-handled injection site where the problem was 'all in my head' has been swollen, bruised, and painful for 3 days now. It was in the side of my mouth and is so swollen that I keep unintentionally biting it now, so it looks like a chunk of hamburger. I can't touch the outside of my face at the injection site either, it is far too painful. My gums (where I had the work done) feel fine, but the injection site is still miserable, something is really wrong there. They didn't even give me an Advil for this. Very unhappy.

I got some crowns here. I got into an accident and the porcelain broke on one of them. Even though it was my fault, they made me a new one. When I asked about cost, the doctor smiled and said, "Buy me a Starbucks sometime, we'll call it even. They've also taken a couple wisdom teeth out. They don't try to upsell at all. No frills, reasonable cost, nice people. Not greedy.

Dr. Patrick is wonderful. I hadn't had my teeth cleaned in years and they bled alot. Went to see Comfort Dental, met Dr. Patrick. He explained that I had gum disease and told me not to worry he would fix it. They gave me the price, and the next day I had my first of two appointments. I was completely numb, it didn't hurt at all. Now my entire family sees Dr. Patrick and have for 2 years. He's great.

I've gone to several of the Dentists here and they have poor bed-side manners. I didn't feel they listened and that my care was poor because of that.

I don't like dentists. The doctor I've been seeing has been very patient in answering my questions. They've done a good job for me.

I went in with a broken wisdom tooth. They did amazing. Made sure I was fully numb and comfortable before starting, asked many times how I was doing, and were fast! Even as a first time patient and without insurance it only took 45 minutes, paperwork and all! Plus even though I was early I still only waited 5 minutes to get in and they are cheap as well! They really are a win/win.

took over a year to even get close to making denters , and still were not right. asked for money back, only wanted o give me 1/2 back and keep all of what my insures paid.. .. daughter had a filling put in, and 2 months later fell out... did not want to put back in nor refund her money.... and well now my husband will never go to a denist again due to the fact , they pulled the wrong tooth and try to charge him for it ,and then was very mean when they pulled the right one.and never once said sorry.
they only want the money , and sure don't know what they are doing , they do not stand behind any of their work.... and staff not very nice at all....
save your money , and all the pain .... go to a professional who knows what they are doing .they may be cheaper but frauds who pretent to be dentist....and they let their assistants play denist as well and they have no clue what they are doing ...they sanded my dentures and really messed they up .... and they are not even Licensed in the state of colorado....

I originally went to this dental office 3 years ago. One of my bottom molars absessed and my jaw was swollen and I had a fever. My dentist at the time said I had to go to an oral surgery specialist, which was too expensive for me at the time. I called comfort dental and the girl on the phone told me to come right in, so I did. Dr. Patrick numbed the tooth, pulled it out, and put a rubber drain in the gums...all for $250. The swelling was gone by the next morning. 4 months later, I let Dr. Patrick put an implant and have been seeing him ever since. No complaints here.

I have seen 2 doctors here in the past. Dr. Patrick is my regular dentist and has always done an outstanding job. I am fully numb before he works on me, especially with the wisdom teeth removal and root canal I needed. Sure, the shot hurts a little...but come on. Their prices are more reasonable than other dentists, and Dr. Patrick has never tried to talk me into stuff I didn't need done. He is on time usually, and quite efficient with our time. Also, the assistants have always been personable and seem to have done a good job.
I think JR C. may be one of those freaky patients that can't be pleased. The other doctor I had seen because I had an emergency (my root canal tooth), and she seemed nice also...and got me in the next day with Dr. Patrick who fixed the tooth.

Also, they are open everyday and evenings except Sundays. Can't say that for other dentists who are on the golf course.

Dr. Patrick is great! He is very gentle and has done a great job on my teeth for the last 5 years. Very good at giving shots to numb my mouth. Only complaints are his front office people are rude and have no customer service skills. No going above and beyond their jobs for sure. I called on a Saturday when my temporary crown came off and they were still in the office but closed. Still answering phones but wouldn't let me come in and get my crown re glued. Newer assistants are kind of iffy as well. However, the more seasoned assistants do a great job.

I went to Comfort Dental because my prior dentist used ??conscious sedation? ?? but failed to anesthetize me adequately and I awoke during the root canal (I could not speak to alert him that I was awake - I was in agony for 1-1/2 hours). I explained all of this to the dentist at Comfort Dental and made it clear that all I wanted was to know that my pain was being noted, and to do their best not to cause unnecessary pain. The root canal went fine, then the tooth kept the dull aching it had before the root canal, and now has sharp stabbing pains in addition. I was asked to come in so the dentist could look at the tooth; I did, and he proceeded to treat me like I was a liar just causing him problems. He folded his arms, looked above my head (not directly at me) and said, "Well, there's nothing wrong with the tooth. The root canal is perfect. Are you sure it still hurts?" I assured him I was not there just because I have nothing else to do (in other words, yes, it damn well does still hurt.) He finally admitted that there "could still be" an infection down in the gums but it shouldn??t be hurting, which made no sense to me. He told me that if I insist it still hurts, his only alternative is to pull the tooth, and refused to even consider that at least a weak pain mediation might be called for. If I was in pain, I'd just have to "tough it".

Bottom line, the prices are right, but I refuse to give my money to health care practitioners who do not care about, nor listen to, their patients and the pain they cause their patients. If they know I'm in pain, I'd like a little honesty, not denial and insinuation that I'm a liar. That doesn't seem like too much to ask, so I??m off to another dentist immediately.
