My hairstylist moved to Sonoma and told me about this great little day spa. I was extremely surprised to find such cutting edge products and services in this quaint little town. I've always loved coming to Sonoma and Napa to go wine tasting with my girlfriends but now have a whole new reason to come! I treated myself to one of the spa packages suggested by the lovely owner and had a fabulous day! My facial, body scrub and massage were the best. My skin was glowing for days, I received compliments for weeks and my brow shaping was the best I ever had! Thank you ladies for pampering me!!

Two of my best friends live in Sonoma and gave me the best birthday gift - a spa day at blush and dinner at Meritage. They totally spoiled me with a glamour girl spa day and I certainly felt like a glamour girl! Every treatment was unbelievable and the owners treated us like queens for the day. We had champagne and yummy pizza. Delores gave us some angel cards to play with in between services and we had a blast all day! I can't wait to come back! Oh yeah, Dolores thank you so much for treating me to an eyebrow shaping - everyone noticed how great they looked! You're the best!

My girlfriend and I were staying at the Inn at Sonoma and decided to use our spafinder gift certificates at a local day spa called blush. What an adorable and charming place! They have the cutest boutique and we were PAMPERED. We changed into these lush robes and slippers and sipped delicious tea while we waited for our services. We both had facials, scrubs and massages - nothing to say except FABULOUS!! Dolores told me things about my skin that I never knew. My girlfriend had an amazing facial with Tasha and the body treatments were HEAVENLY! Get on your phone right now and book an appointment at blush.

This may be the first review I have ever written but blush deserves it. I lived in Paris, Rome, San Francisco and New York before moving to Sonoma with my husband 2 years ago. I tried a few of the little places in town without much luck and was driving to San Francisco for my hair and skin services until I met blush's extremely charming owners at a friends house. They generously offered me a complimentary light therapy treatment. I was pleasantly surprised with the cutting edge facials and products I found at blush. Dolores is just a master with eyebrow shaping as well - better than I've ever had. I decided to try a haircut with Jane - fabulous! and some body treatments. I have had superb services by both Leah and Shannon. Congratulations Delores on a beautiful spa - your warm, nurturing heart and hands will take you very far!!

My girlfriend and I travel to blush a few times a year from Humboldt County just to visit blush and we always have amazing spa treatments and customer service. Dolores is the best facialist and eyebrow master - unbelievable the wonders she does with my brows and skin. My girlfriend had a facial with Tasha and said her facial was incredible as well. We both had a scrub and massage and the therapists were simply fabulous. Dolores and James - congratulations on putting together such a wonderful spa!!! Merry Christmas.

I had an unforgettable experience at blush. A few months ago my boyfriend and I flew in from NY for a wine and spa weekend. He booked me services at blush as a surprise. I was immediately greeted by the sweet girl at the front desk who made me feel like she was welcoming me into her home. My first service was the incredible copacabana which was a fruitty body scrub and yummy warm nutty oil massage. Leah, the massage therapist with the magical hands gave me the cushiest robe and slippers and led me to the facial room to see the beautiful owner, Delores. I was really stressed and Dolores' amazing spirit and hands just nurtured me to no end. I learned so much about my skin and still using the facial products that she sent me. After my facial, she gave me a complimentary brow shaping. Thank you bella!!! I wish you were here in NY.

My friend called me when she saw that someone wrote a bad review about blush - that is simply madness!! My girlfriends and I have all been blush junkies for a few years now and you cannot find nicer people than Dolores and James - really! We always tease her that she can't possibly make any money with all that she gives away because she is so generous! My sister comes from Palo Alto once every 6 weeks because she can't find anyone else that gives a facial like she does! My girlfriend from New York comes to see her everytime she visits because noone gives a facial like her. The spa was voted 5 star by New Beauty Magazine and a beauty editor in Long Island raved about her facial in an article. Come on, please...

Oh please, don't tell me that anyone would say anything about my girl in Sonoma. I live in Boston but grew up in Sonoma. I wish that we had a spa here like blush! Everyone is so nice and the customer service is the best!!! I can't find anyone to do my eyebrows and facials like Dolores and I always have a fabulous massages and body treatments there. I had all of my bridesmaids get ready with me there and it was fabulous!! I don't let anyone else touch my skin or brows and have Dolores send me products. I met someone at blush who travels from Seattle every few months to have a facial with her. Dolores, keep rocking girl - don't pay attention to haters.

I have lived in Sonoma my whole life and can honestly say that blush has been the best thing to happen here in a long time. I was driving to Marin and San Francisco for my services after trying everyone here for brow shaping, waxing and facials in Sonoma. Dolores is an extemely giving soul who takes alot of time making sure that you're happy and have all of the right products and facials. Dolores, I was distraught when I read some of the bad reviews (even though there are so few) because you don't deserve them. Remember that you can't please everyone and there are definitely envious people out there who will lash out when they feel threatened by someone as talented as you. Keep being sweet, incredible self!!

I was recommended to blush by a friend who travels from S.F. once a month to see the owner - who is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. I had lost someone very close to me this year and Dolores just gave me literally the best, most healing facial I've ever had. She treated me to some sort of light therapy that was sooooo relaxing! Her heart comes through in her treatments. I bought some emerginC and epicuren products which I love! Girl, you're a genius - my skin looks incredible and I get compliments all the time. I've always loved my treatments at blush. The owners are adorable and brows and skin has never looked better but I had to write a review for Leah because I have traveled all over and Leah gave me one of the best massages that I've ever had. Dolores recommended to have a 90 minute because she said that Leah is very intuitive and can tune into what your body really needs but likes to spend extra time on your "kinks". She was right! 90 minutes was perfect! Leah, you're incredible and I will be back to see you soon.

My friends and I went there as part of a bridal shower celebration for our friend. Everything was nice at first, I even received a phone call stating that they were running 20 mins late that day so we got there when they were ready for us. I had a great massage from Mary, who really got all the knots and aches out! Unfortunately, my friend (the bride) had a nice but shorten facial with Dolores. We were all scheduled for 90 minutes of service, however my friend had only 70 minutes! When we asked Dolores, she stated that my friend had really nice skin and didn't need any type of extraction. When we pointed out that they advertised the session to be 90 minutes, Dolores got very defensive and started stating that we were running late and that she did extra treatment on my friend and how we were not appreciative of nice, world renown treatments. When I pointed out that I received a voicemail from the staff at the spa stating that they were running late, Dolores pretty much lost it. She started yapping about how she was trained by the best in the world and that her service is world renown... etc. My poor friend can't even get a word in because Dolores was constantly cutting her off! I'm not sure if Dolores had a bad day or if it is simply bad customer service, either way she came across looking really horrendous. One interesting note, Dolores had taken my payment for the massage and later on another staff pointed out to her that she charged the wrong amount. Her husband James was really accomodating and was trying to find a solution to make everybody happy. However, even after James solved the issue, Dolores still had to vent about how we do not understand and value good treatments. I finally told her that I had plenty of great treatments from spas such as Nordstrom and Canyon Ranch, simply to point out that her comments were unfounded. She retorted that those spas are not good. Basically we left after that since there is no point reasoning with her! EEEK!

I never thought my eyebrows could look so good! I have been driving from Marin every 3 weeks to have my eyebrows shaped by Dolores. The last few people I had do them butchered them! I didn't even realize this until D showed me what the shape should look like. And she only charged me every other time I came while they were growing in! They also have lots of cute earrings, bracelets - I always buy my gifts there now because its so cute and reasonable. My aunt bought me a gift certficate for a facial - can't wait!

There is too much to say about blush and JAC hair gallery to fit into this tiny space. David, Monique and the owners made my sister's wedding day so special! The spa and salon were both very busy and there was even another wedding going on the same day but they made my sister feel like she was the most important person in the world on her day. David is the best - everyone told my sister (and all of us) how georgous her updo was and her makeup was perfect (thanks to Dolores). David, Monique and Dolores had all of us looking like models, but the best part was - they are absolutely charming and professional. I've never been treated so well in a spa or hair salon. The owners both catered to me and our family & bridesmaids, set up a table for us to bring some goodies and Dolores' adorable husband was chatting with everyone and making mimosas for all the girls. He was so sweet to my mom! We had a blast!!! David - thank you, thank you, thank you and Monique, all of the girls thank you too. Love you guys!!

A few weeks ago my daughter brought me to Sonoma for my birthday. We stayed at Macarthur Place which was so charming but she had heard great things about blush so she took me there for a facial. Dolores treated me to a complimentary light therapy treatment with my facial when I told her that i was going out for dinner for my birthday. I've never had such a georgous facial - her delicate hands are simply magic and it was the best facial massage I've ever experienced and I have had facials all over the world! She wrapped my feet in warm towels and then gave me a marvelous foot massage. When I went out that night, my friends were all dying to know what I did because my skin was glowing and so firm! Sorry Dolores - but I didn't want to give away my secret but now I'm writing a review so everyone knows how wonderful you are...

My husband and I just moved to town. I made an appointment for a bikini and leg wax but couldn't find a babysitter. The owner told me not to worry and to bring my baby with me. I was shocked...the owners are so cute and nice. Dolores and James watched my son while I was getting my treatments - that is first class caring about your clients! While I was there, another client came in for her brows with her 3-year old daughter and told me that her daughter loves coming to blush to visit Dolores and James. Okay, so not that I will bring my baby to a day spa everyday while other people are trying to relax but as a new mom in a new town, it is so great to know that there are people in town like Dolores and James. what can I say about my favorite spa and hair salon in the world and some of my favorite people? The other day I was getting my brows shaped and a woman came in with a request for a donation for a silent auction to raise money for a young boy whose medical bills were piling up. Dolores listened to the story and asked one of the therapists to write out 2 gift certificates for spa treatments - one for the silent auction and one for the boy's mom. These people, everyone that works at blush and JAC, are just the most genuine, caring people ever and it just makes me crazy that anyone could ever, ever say anything but this about them. So nurturing, so caring, so sweet.....

That Tammy girl is out of her head! She needs to stop smoking and put down the pipe. I have been going to blush since they opened a few years ago - the owners, Delores and James are the sweetest, most generous business owners I've ever met. My friends and I always tease Delores that she is going to go out of business with her generosity. She is always giving discounts, giving free brow shaping touchups, complimentary upgrades on services. My family have used spafinder gift certificates there and we always buy blush gift certificates (which by the way, I can confirm are not available on line!). We all come from Petaluma whenever we get a chance. Everyone who workds there is adorable! Don't believe any shady reviews!

The online gift certificates are a scam! I recently had a gift certificate purchased online for me. The certificate was not included in the received package. When confronted, the manger was rude and had no concern for customer service. She decided not to help me or keep me as a future client. Instead she took the $140.00

When my friend Rita told me that she travels to Sonoma every month for a facial and massage, I thought she was crazy until I went with her one weekend. We drove up in the morning and had coffee at the Basque Cafe - the plaza is so cute and great shopping! But, after my treatments at blush and meeting the owners, I knew why Rita comes every month. I had the best facial ever and was treated me to a light treatment with my facial. The ownersand everyone who works there make you feel they're welcoming you into their home. Dolores treated me to a brow shaping - I couldn't believe the difference and recommended the copacabana body treatment which was head to toe heaven! I practically floated out of there and my face glowed for weeks!

Make sure you include Blush A Day Spa in any CA Wine Country trip. The best facial I've ever had! I travel extensively and made a recent trip to the California Wine Country. While staying in Sonoma I booked a facial at Blush a Day Spa because it was close by. How fortunate for me, it was the most wonderful part of my trip! The moment I walked in the door the relaxing healing energy melted away all my stresses and the facial was so amazing. I only wish I didn't have to travel all the way across the country for one of Delores DeAlba's amazing facials.

I am a Sonoma resident and living in the wine country means we have several options to soil ourselves with spa treatments. Out of all the day spas in Sonoma I like to spoil myself at Blush a Day Spa. The owners are accommodating and friendly the staff is very professional and pleasant. Dolores De Alba is excellent at brow shaping and tinting and her facials are wonderful. I was visiting friends in Sonoma last summer and had the most wonderful experience and best facial of my life. I walked into Blush a Day Spa and I was immediately greeted by the very attractive and super friendly owner Dolores De Alba. She personally gave me the best facial I ever had. I was brought into a very quiet and calming zen atomoshpere. They allowed me time to relax and adjust to the dim lighting and soothing atomoshpere. I was given a luxurious robe and offered spring water or herbal tea. During my facial Dolores explained all of the procedures she was doing and products she was applying in a very soothing quiet tone as to keep me relaxed. She then gave me a UV light treatment. The light treatment made me feel and look so good I went back to the salon everyday for a treatment. The light treatment has an incredible revitalizing and energizing effect. It also made me look younger which makes anyone feel good. On top of the wonderful service, knowledgable and pleasant staff, they carry a large variety of excellent high end products. Their prices are very reasonable I actually expected to be charged more and I would have paid anything. The service and treatments were better than any high end salon. Blush is an A plus plus spa a must visit. Better than any high end spa on Madison avenue. I cannot wait to go back to Sonoma and have another wonderful facial and get my light treatments. Four of my girlfriends in our late 30's reserved the entire spa for a full day of all over body treatments. We received personal care that was cozy and intimate. This is not a big glitzy spa with bells and whistles. This is a quaint place where close girlfriends can gather and spend a cozy afternoon in robes, slippers, and no make-up. We were pampered and fed delicious take out food. Each of us had our favorite treatments. Mine was the facial. My skin has never been better since my visit six months ago! The products that I purchased by Epicuren are terrific! Definitely a holistic experience since great conversation was had with Dolores. She gave us some relevant freebies like books and mugs that offered advice for gaining "inner beauty". The conversation was deep, the treatments were treats!!!!!!

My friends were all raving about the facials and body treatments they received at blush during a girls trip so I decided to make a day trip from S.F. to try it for myself. The spa is so cute and they all make you feel like you are cherished guests in their home - it is more than a spa experience. My girlfriends and I went to Sonoma for a girls trip. We travelled all the way from NJ.
We decided to do wine tasting and a spa. Blush was recommended to us strongly.
We have gone on many trips and done many spas. This one by far was one of the
best we have been too! The service was great and so were the people who work

Words cannot express how magical my wedding day began at JAC Hair Gallery and blush a day spa. On Friday, my bridal party and I spent the day having spa treatments. The owner, Dolores surprised us with champagne, strawberries and chocolate. I felt like a princess. She also gave me a little wedding gift from the spa. When we arrived at JAC, everyone was so sweet to us and we had a great time. Stephanie and Gia did fabulous updos for us and we had a ball! Kisses and hugs to you all!!!

I got married in Sonoma a couple weeks ago. It was a blast and I felt like a princess.

I was really pleased with my vendors-- all total pros and made the whole day go seamlessly-- with one exception. JAC Hair Gallery (aka Blush a day spa) was a total nightmare!

Even though I had a signed contract, tried numerous times to reach them by phone, and sent confirmation emails to the owner, there were huge mix ups. To make matters worse, the owner acted in a very unprofessional manner. I'll leave out the gory details, but suffice it to say it was the only stress factor in the days leading up to my wedding. I can only conclude she figured that she had little to lose, as we were out of town customers, and we were locked into the contract.

I had to keep them on, but didn't want them touching my hair. I ended up having to book a second stylist-- who turned out to be amazing!

As far as JAC, we paid for everything, even the services we didn't use. We tipped 15% as the stylist himself did a reasonable job. Even he told us later that the owner had made a mess of it.

I didn't let them ruin my day, but don't let them interfere with yours. Stay far, far away.
Update: Dolores I am not a former stylist, although I can imagine why former employees might have ill will due to general unprofessionalism. Note that all the other "rave" reviews look contrived: the other "customers" have only reviewed this one site (or Blush's other site JAC), are way over the top and always know the owners by name. Writing your own reviews to artificially inflate ratings? Unethical and misleading!

This spa was once great, They were new to town, young, and had the best of make-up and hair. Now employees have left- bride's have had make-up and hair cancelled 1 week before their weddings!! The employess lefft are flaky to say the least. I would only recomend this salon for a nail appt. Leave the rest to the other places that don't flake out on brides. Believe a Local---Sonoma has many other great places to go and you won't end up crying on your wedding day!!!!

My girlfriends and I all had spa package treatments at blush that were just the best. Dolores' facial was amazing - I couldn't believe how great my skin looked for days! We all had facials and the massages were delicious!!! Sandra gives the ultimate massage during her pedicures. Dolores' husband James picked up lunch for us and brought us champagne - they are an adorable and very charming couple! This place is a must in Sonoma. We have tried other places in the area and will never go anywhere else again!

My girlfriends and I had a spa party at blush a day spa in Sonoma. It is the cutest spa! We all had different treatments but everyone was raving about each of their treatments. The owner Dolores is a doll and treated us all to brow shaping which we discovered that she has worked with Hollywood celebrities. Her and her husband James are so sweet and down to earth. I have a weekend house in Sonoma so it is usually easier to have my hair done in Sonoma but couldn't find anyone like I had in the city. Well, I read about Jane Waterdown at JAC Hair Gallery who was Vidal Sassoon trained so I decided to give her a try - absolutely the best haircut I have ever had! I saw her two months ago and my hair is growing in so beautifully!! I could tell when she was cutting my hair that I had never had it shaped like that before. She recommended Judy for color and I walked out with georgous highlights. I almost didn't write a review because I'm afraid they will be booked out for weeks pretty soon. Don't miss this combo!!!

After I found my favorite stylist at JAC hair salon next door, I met the owner James who is a sweetheart. He convinced me to have my brows waxed with Dolores. Wow...I couldn't believe the difference. It is like having a new face! They had an opening for a body treatment so I decided to have a Moor mud wrap - it was really great. I don't know how I drove home. I never thought I would find such a fabulous salon and day spa in this little town. I'm coming back with my girls for a spa party

Leticia is the master of bikini waxing! I had a massage and a brazilian bikini wax before my vacation with my boyfriend - who is now my fiance. I went in for a bikini wax and Leticia gave me the courage to have almost everything taken off except for a cute little patch. My boyfriend loved it! It was so fun and Leticia was so great. After the wax, I had a super, relaxing massage! Everyone was so nice!! I will never go to another spa again.

I had the most amazing experience at blush a day spa! I couldn't believe how great my eyebrows looked after Dolores shaped them - I never thought that I could have such a great arch. Then, Dolores told me about having a consultation with Dana for an aura-soma reading. My girlfriend and I came and we were blown away but how interesting and insightful the consultation was just from choosing colored bottles! We both had a massage with the oil in our bottle - amazing, amazing, amazing!!!

My girlfriends surprised me with an incredible spa day at this beautiful spa in Sonoma! There were 3 of us and we each had a fabulous facial with the owner, Dolores. She is a beautiful and sweet esthetician with incredible knowledge. The products she suggested to me changed my skin in one week. Then we had scrubs and massages. My one girlfriend had a Moor mud wrap that she loved. I even received a cut, wash and blowdry... I will be back very soon! Don't miss this great spot one block from the square.

I went to see my Mom's esthetician when I was visiting her in Sonoma. Dolores gave me the most incredible facial and I have traveled all over the world and have had facials everywhere. I learned so much about my skin. She even sold me a mud drink that has really helped my digestion and my skin. I had a fabulous day at blush that began with an emerginC facial, then I had an amaaaazing body treatment called Copacabana which started with a papaya pineapple body scrub and was followed with a warm coconut milk and nut oil massage. I had the most incredible and relaxing facial. Dolores DeAlba gave me the facial and massage. She is remarkable. My face was so smooth and refreshed. Dolores also tweezed and shaped my eyebrows and I received many compliments.

I had the most incredible facial with the owner Dolores De Alba. After my very pampering facial, I couldn't believe how great my skin looked for days! Everyone there is wonderful and so knowledgeable!
