Erzi has been our family's vet for many years now, and is the one person we entrust with our pets health. We look forward to her annual visits and vaccinations (the human pets do!) as a time to make sure our pets health is on track. It's also a time to enjoy Erzi's wonderful company, wit, and humor, which we treasure. When we have a medical crisis, Erzi's the first person we contact for advice on how to best handle the situation. We trust her judgement and advice implicitly.
One of the most amazing things about her is the depth of her concern for our cats well being, both on a professional and a personal level. They trust her, and that trust is always justified. As all pet lovers know, animals sense a person's character; they know a pet lover in an instant. Our pets know that Erzi's heart is solid gold and that her touch can be trusted each and every time.
Simply said, we love Erzi and would be lost without her.
I am currently housebound and worried about my cat possibly being sick and needing to be spayed. Since Dr. Willoughby advertises for home visits, I called her and she just said the cat needs to be spayed first and foremost and she can't help me with that at home, so "good luck with that" and hung up! How rude!
Erzsi Willoughby is by far the most loving and dedicated Veterinarian we have ever met. She is in a profession that was made for her. Her love of animals is without a doubt the most genuine we have seen in the animal professions. She truly cares for each and every one of her patients. She "talks" to them as if they were her children. What we especially like is her handling of our pets. She is never in a hurry to get in and get out. She takes extra care to give the animals the extra care they need. Our only disappoint is that we did not meet her sooner. We will never use another Vet as long as Erzsi is around.
i just want anyone who is looking for an excellent loving person to care for your pet to know, she is most awesome person. she is heart ,manifested-
i did not even know her and she came to put my cat to sleep when he had kidney failure. i was a complete wreck, unable to even function during this horror of having my cat get sick and she really grounded the situation and well i cannot say enough good about her, but really, a blessing-
Erzsi Willoughby has been providing great at-home veterinarian care for our cats for approximately the past 16 years. Not having to take our pets to a clinic has been a blessing for them as well as my husband and I, particularly in the case of our current cat who "freaks out" whenever she is around any other animal. Though this cat is sweet in her own way, she has also been known to inflict damage when things don't go the way she wants. Dr. Willoughby's deft handling of her makes the experience of annual checkups, injections, etc. quick, efficient, and relatively painless for all concerned. Our previous cat developed a large tumor in her chest and eventually had to be euthanized. Dr. Willoughby performed this task in the most respectful, gentle, loving and humane way I could have imagined. I would not hesitate to ask her to euthanize another pet if it became necessary or to recommend her services to others. Dr. Willoughby is a dear woman who truly loves animals. She is skillful and she provides quality service to pet owners in our community. I know many others who share my experience.
Erzsi Willoughby has been an incredible physician caring for our pets for 13 years. Several years ago she diagnosed our rottweiler with a rare and painful skin disorder. We would have lost him without her help. She spent numerous hours researching this disease and working with our family to find a treatment that has kept him healthy and happy.
Dr Willoughby has also helped our family with the loss of two pets. One of these losses involved euthanizing our 15 year old cat. Erzsi was supportive, caring and very competent. We even received a sympathy card from her the next day!
I have worked in the "human" medical field for 28 years. I understand the need for ethics, compassion, and competency when caring for the health of an individual. In my opinion, Dr Willoughby excels in all these areas when caring for our loving pets. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional veterinarian.
Dr. Erzsi Willoughby has seen me through illnesses of my pets and my neighbors pets for over 10 years. You will not find a more loving and compassionate doctor or human being. I don't know Laura B's problem or situation, but I can fully recommend Erzsi as a doctor whom I trust completely. An attack like this is false and very sad.
Dr.Erzsi Willoughby has been our family vet for over 25 years. She is the kindest most compassionate animal caregiver we have known. My own cousin is a Vet. in Sonoma county and he agrees that her level of ability is excellent. We have had to say goodbye to 2 cats and my sister to 3 cats and 1 dog all due to OLD age. She made certain they were not frightened or uncomfortable in any way. I was present at each procedure here in our home and in one case we took our kitty out of the vets' office to a quiet park to see the sunlight and fresh air before his final rest. She is a lovely, kind person who will first do no harm to any animal. Our current 3 kitties receive their checkups in our home and due to her knowledge and expertise are thriving. I will continue to recommend Dr Willougby to anyone with pets knowing they will get the best of care always.
I and my pets were lucky enough to have Erzsi enter our lives over 20 years ago. She has not only become our very much loved vet but also a friend. She has ALWAYS been there for all of us. I have had to have several pets euthanized, and as difficult as this always is, it was made much easier because of Erzsi. She is very supportive and loving with all , and that includes the humans involved.
I ,for one, will always have Erzsi in my life.I love my animals too much to not give them the best care available. I feel very lucky to have Erzsi on our team!
Dr. Willoughby has been our vet for many years and during that time she had to euthanize one of our cats, Barney. She did so in a manner that exemplifies who she is--a loving, compassionate, and gentle person. She cares deeply about how animals are treated and that shows in all aspects of her practice.
Erzsi has been a kind, compassionate, and loving vet to our 4 cats for years. In fact, she saved our sweet Pumpkin's life after 2 other vets had been unable to correct his medical condition. AND she talked the second vet into lowering his bill for repeated but unsuccessful treatments. She earned our respect, admiration and eternal gratitude. We think she is absolutely wonderful and could not recommend her more highly.
Dr. Erzsi has been our vet for over 20 years. We first met he when she came to our home to euthanize our dog, Ralphie. We have had many animals since then and she has cared for each of them with love, compassion and kindness throughout their lives and, for many, helped them transition to heaven when their bodies could not longer sustain them. We have personally been with each of our fur babies when they passed and while it's the hardest thing we've ever done, Erzsi has been gentle and professional and loving each time. She cries with us and hurts as much as we do. She considers our animals hers and reading what this person posted about her makes me sick. I've witnessed more than 10 passings because we have many animals and always it's been a blessing because they were suffering and this gave them peace. Slandering a wonderful vet who comes to your house is just loathsome to me. I question the poster's motives big time. While I am sorry for her cat's passing, why would you attack one of the best vets in the area?
My husband Steve and I have used Erszi as our veterinarian for years. She is extemely knowledgeable, professional, compassionate, patient and kind. She even responded to our home after a bear attacked our German Shepherd at four a.m., and she treated him!
She came to our home when our 10 year old daughter's hamster died of natural causes, and held a funeral service for her.
She works extra hours, has an excellent reputation and many of our neighbors and political officials have her as their veterinarian. She also assists many of the local animal welfare groups with treating their animals.
We have been very happy with her service.
