My name is Laura. I recently moved from Arizona to Round Rock Texas. Before moving I was with my amazing hairdresser for over 6 years and leaving her was rough:) With no luck or satisfaction with any of the shops near me i decided to look around the net for referrals. Like everyone else i was looking for talent at a reasonable price. The last post on this site seemed recent enough so i called for a apt with Amanda and indeed left beyond satisfied. My color was honestly unlike any color i have had in the past and the cut was new and fun, yet age appropriate is what she said. I am genuinely impressed. She is in fact friendly and extremely immformative. I am thrilled i could find such a great hairdresser thats not too far from my home. Thank you Donna M!

Ive followed Amanda from braker to four points to lakecreek and now im in Cedar Park still with her. She is worth every penny and she has great ideas that always turn out great. It's sad these others have such bad experiences at this salon but shes the manager at this location now and since ive been in i havnt experienced any of these negative occurances. Shes an amazing hairdresser and a good listener, and i love to go see her even if its just to have her blow dry my hair. Go check her out, and tell her Donna says hi :)

My family and I have been here several times, through several stylists, usually only because it is convenient.
Janet is the only one that is worth anything; she is awesome, very friendly, and if you take a picture in of the style you want she's very good at replicating it. The downside? Everyone that does frequent the shop regularly knows that Janet is the only one that's any good; you can forget about just walking-in (twice I've had to leave because she was booked for that entire day!)
The other women that work there suck, and so do their attitudes. The guy that works there? Well, his haircuts are good, but he is so slow, so you'd better have time to kill. We were in once, and while Janet cut my hair and my husband's, this other male stylists worked the entire time on one customer --- and all he got was a Caesar cut! Seriously!

I have gotten my haircut here for about 3 years. You need to see Kathy. She has like 20 years experience and is incredible with color!! I actually have foils in my hair and no one else will ever touch my hair.
They actually have some very experienced people who seem to care. They are under new management now. The salon is clean and inviting, but don't worry about the good ones and the bad ones, just go see Kathy.
There is actually an email address for appointments;

I really should have walked out once I got a load of the sullen girl who was about to cut my hair. I really should have taken better note of the disheveled (and I don't mean stylishly disheveled) hair on her own head, but I really needed a trim.
She commenced with the drape and began pinning my hair back without even asking if I wanted a wash. Rather uncouth and ill-mannered, she barely stopped blathering with the stylist across from her own chair before rudely asking, "What did you want me to do?" The other stylist laughed.
Arguably she was asking about what I wanted her to do with my hair. I told her I just wanted a trim.
Indeed, she gave just a trim. I could hardly see she'd trimmed off any hair, so subtle was the trim. I had to ask her if she'd actually cut off any length at all. She rolled her eyes and said yes, she had. Look at the hair on the floor, she added.
At that point I decided to just cut my losses and go to a professional elsewhere to get my hair cut. I went to the register, paid what I owed but left no tip even though it was clear she expected one, and told the girl she might want to choose another vocation because she had neither interest nor aptitude for the job.
I told her that I'd pay for the cut only because I had indeed sat down in the chair and she had indeed applied scissors to my hair, but that it was the poorest job and poorest service I'd ever gotten.
I got out of there and got my hair done by a professional. Bottom line: you get what you pay for. In my own experience this place is second-rate. Stay away unless you want to be overcharged and under-served with a shoddy cut job and have the staff be rude and inattentive to you.
PROS: HEB is next door: Buy yourself some scissors, you could do better yourself.
CONS: Poor service, prices not worth shoddy service, rude staff
