Schmidt & Catchings Family Practice

The doctors are good but the staff has been rude a few times when it came to issues related to private insurance. I wouldn't recommend anyone go to them though. I liked Dr. Vanzani, I believe that's her name and I stopped going once she left.

Dr. Schmidt has been our physician for almost 6 years. She has guided us through many difficult situations, including a current crisis with my daughter's chronic disease. Her level of service goes above and beyond the call of duty. We are continually amazed by her compassion, intelligence, and common sense.Having Dr. Schmidt "on our team" gives us a level of comfort that we have never found in other physicians. She genuinely cares about her patients and it's obvious that she feels she was put here to serve. We cannot say enough about her dedication to her patients. She has been an absolute gift to us during these incredibly difficult times. Her staff is professional, efficient and pleasant as well, (and we deal with them often!)

We have been going to S&C for a couple of years and like many of their patients we were referred by a specialist. We just love Vonnie and Tesha ! Dr. Schmidt takes great care of my elderly mother , Ms. Catchings is wonderful with our small children and Dr. Shaw even got my husband to get a follow up physical. I have been recommending them to all of my friends and I think half of my church goes there.

My daughter started seeing Ms Catchings when we came to NC in 1995. That was when she was with Kaiser. We followed her to to Rex and then into Schmidt & Catchings. She has been absolutely wonderful for my sometimes high needs daughter. When my daughter needed someone to talk to, and refused a psychiatrist, she would talk to Ms. Catchings. She helped her through all of the growing pains from age 6-19 (so far). One of my greatest joys was when she was certified for family practice and could become my primary care provider as well. I never feel that she talks down to either of us. She always has time to explain her suggestions. I can't say enough good things about her.

My son been going to Schmidt and catching ever since he was born. and Mrs catchings is the best ever. She really sits down and talk to you and explain everything to you.
the staff up there is wonderful and Mrs catchings assistant
Tesha is the best nurse at giving shots. She is really sweet and when my son goes to get his shot, she plays with him and then give him his shot and its so quick he don't even have time to cry.She is the best doctor and i love her so much. The office is clean throughout, the staff is sweet and nice. Its real easy to get a appointment, and they specialize in good service.

I have 3 children, the eldest 6 yrs. old, and we have been seeing Susan Catchings since they were born. We first became patients of hers while she was with Rex Peds of Cary and we have followed her to the new practice. I completely trust her with all aspects of my children from illnesses to parenting advice. She is attentive to what you have to say and takes her time to ensure all areas are covered. Schmidt and Catchings are a great team. The have the BEST staff in the triangle. I highly recommend their practice.

Schmidt & Catchings is a great family practice. All the staff is caring and responsive to your needs, you can get an appointment in a very timely fashion. The practice see adults as well as children making it easy to bring the entire family to one place.

Dr. Schmidt is really one of the most caring Drs. I've seen. She is genuinely interested in you and your health. Strict attention to detail and listens to what you have to say. I'm very pleased with her practice as a whole as well. Her staff exudes the same kind of caring attitude. We have several family members that are patients and have always been pleased with their treatment. You won't regret giving them your business.
