And the disappointment continues. 4 years ago these losers (Alberts) suckered us into installing a complete HVAC system in our home. First it was the installers forgot to convert the heater to propane. The unit almost melted when we first turned on the heater a month after install. Then the first summer after install the A/C was not cooling the house. (We upgraded to the next size up condensor to 5T to make sure house stays cool.) They came out after a long argument, since they wanted to charge us, and charged the A/C. Oops, the installers must of forgot. Well now three years later, after two hot weeks, the unit still cannot go below 83 degrees. (Where we live, we do not use the air too often.) Oh my, the installers didn't seal all the joints in the duct work. My attic is getting cooled aslo. I brought another contractor to inspect and, well, let's see, The air unit has holes in it with forced air coming out of them. I guess Alberts doesn't believe in mastic to seal joints. They just wrapped insulation around the open, leaking joints in the hard duct. Tie wraps (the ones below code standards) must be good enough for them, since that's all they used to connect the ducts. Balancing the unit? Forget about it! Now I will have to shell out another 700 bucks to make the unit work correctly. I should of known what path we were going with these morons when the installers said they completed the job, there was a section of duct that was not replaced when I inspected. Why? It's too narrow to get to in the attic. I had to convince them by going in there myself. Then they went in and finished. Whatever their name is now, stay away!!!

Wow, Core Plumbing is the old Albert's Plumbing Heating & Air. They change there name to Core Plumbing cause they were in debt with a lot of vendors...It sucks because I have a system that's worthless to me. I called and another company answer saying they bought the number which is lie.

Well isn't this great. Today I tried to call the number I have for Albert Plumbing and another company answered. Guess now we are owners of a M1010 that is not meeting our needs and a 10 year maintenance plan that is totally worthless.

Updated: 2-15-08 The owner is Glen Blavet
820 Los Vallecitos Blvd
San Marcos, CA 92069

Call Now: 619-471-0883 or 1-800-461-4441 -

I ordered the M1010 and spent over $6000 after being oversold. The salesman promised a variable speed blower, but during the install I noticed it was only a single speed blower. Instead of replacing the blower, they switched out a part and told me it was now a VS, later I found out they did not register my system as a VS.

Also - I have called them over 6 times asking for an owner's/operating manual and they keep telling me it's on the way. 5 months later have NEVER received it.

Each time I call them, the previous employee and manages are gone and replaced by folks.

Watch the installers carefully examine each part number and serial number and watch for damaged goods.

We hired Albert Plumbing Heating & Air to service one of our offices. The technician, Andrew, certainly got the job done AND he did it in a timely matter. But when it came to issues of payment, we found that "good customer service" stops once your interaction with the technician ends. The woman who answered their phones, Brittania, was defensive when we inquired regarding who to speak with about billing issues. When we finally got referred to the owner, Glen Blavet (since they don't currently have an Accounts Payable/Receivable department), we found that Glen was also about as friendly as a cactus. I would only recommend using this company if you plan to pay at the time of service. If you are looking for a contract vendor or someone who will bill you later, keep looking past this company.
