NEVER EVER go to Phil Long Ford if you need to buy a car! Worst experience EVER!

Terms changed twice, they lied about what the bank required for the terms of the contract. We turned in our other car and 2 weeks later called us saying they in fact couldn't do what they promised and instead of $500 now needed $1000 down. Then made us feel bad they were ""losing money on the deal and the manager needed to sign off on it."" Problem with this is the new terms they made us sign on Nov 1st didn't change the price AT ALL!

No money was being lost they just were being emotionally manipulative.

Even the bank Capital One confirmed they didn't require $1000 down so the whole story was a lie. The problem is we turned in our car after signing the paperwork so we were forced into a really bad deal we would have walked away from. They also apparently changed the contract dates because Capital One called me yesterday letting me know our 1st payment is due on the 21st!! So the deleted the STANDARD 45 day grace period to make our 1st payment after already giving them $1000 down.

We were so happy with our purchase and the service from Phil Long Ford. When we couldn't find what we wanted on the first try, Sherri Talbot and Kevin Shaughnessy worked over the weekend to hunt down what we were looking for. We were so happy with the choices they found for us, we purchased our vehicle at a great price, with a great trade in value! Thank you to everyone at Phil Long!

Phil Long on South Wadsworth near Quincy in Littleton did an oil change and cruise control recall warranty work on our 2003 E150 van. Moses the service was very irrate and had a bad attitude when it came to fixing the recall item. He eventually did 5 hours later but was po'd during the whole process. Phil Long finally returned the vehicle after dark and my wife got in the drivers door and drove home to park it in our driveway. The next morning we noticed the passenger side door was pushed in and considerably damaged. Estimates were $2500 to repair. When we told Phil Long about it they denied they did it or that it happened while the vehicle was in their shop. Matter of fact they got physical with me and pushed me around before calling the police. I left never to come back. Unfortunately we did not see the damage as we took the vehicle home at night. Phil Long would not pay, we do not have collision insurance and thus we got stuck with the wrecked car and the bill to fix it. Our car was wrecked while in the care of Phil Long Ford. They are lying crooks so beware if you take your car to them.

In my opinion, Phil Long Ford doesn't believe in customer service. I've had horrible experiences in every department I've been in. The parts department couldn't even find a bolt I needed and their prices are very high. I have found that I can get it cheaper and quicker elsewhere. The repair department was my worst experience. In my opinion they clearly do not understand the vehicles they are working on. I brought in my truck with a specific problem, with specific symptoms. Their all knowing computer said it was one injector and a sensor. I specifically asked the mechanic that if I gave them the $1400 they were asking for to replace two small parts, would it be running good. He replied, yes it would be running pretty good. I picked up the truck after they said the problem was fixed. The truck had the exact same symptoms and the exact same problem. They hooked the truck back up to the same computer and now it was three different injectors and a wiring harness. They refused to stand behind their work and now want more money to fix the same problem and they still will not guarantee this will fix it. In my car repair experience I believe they are chasing an electrical problem that they don't understand. Instead they want me to throw money at them so they can throw parts at it. Furthermore, I reported them to the BBB to try and resolve this and they responded with a complete lie. I feel that the employees at Phil Long are untrustworthy, under skilled, and are only out to make money off of people. Finally the people I've dealt with in the sales department have little technical knowledge of the vehicles they're trying to sell. I've only experienced high pressure sales tactics and on a test drive, the sales guy crashed one new truck into the one parked next to it. So two poor people are going to buy a "new" damaged truck. Plus I've found cheaper new cars at other local dealers. Obviously I will never spend another penny here.

I bought my 2001 ford mustang here and it was a long process as any place where you buy a car is but the staff was friendly and got me the car and payment I wanted. They were NOT pushy and were classy!

PROS: will get approved!
CONS: NONE
