I had my doubts about ethiopian cuisine at first. The location of the restaurant is easy to find but the outside looks small. It's next to Star India.
Once I walked in, the placed looked very clean, modern, and exotic and the waitresses were very nice and helpful. She asked us if we wanted the traditional seating or the table seating. Pick traditional seating for a new experience. If this is your first time coming, I would do some research on ethiopian food or read other reviews to get an idea of what to order.

The first thing served is several warm bread pieces with a slightly spicy dipping sauce. Very Good. Next we ordered the Duba wot (very good), chicken dibs (okay), a fish dish (pretty good) and Yemisirwot (good.) We also ordered an appetizer that looked like a hot pocket with beef inside...pretty good.

Now to my surprise, the dishes you choose will actually be served together on top of round traditional bread. If you like finger food, this is the place to be. The waitress taught us to tear a piece of bread of and scoop up whichever dish we wanted. It was a very interesting experience.

Things to know:
-If you're the open-minded type who loves food and trying different tastes, this is the place for you.

While this isn't the best Ethiopian I have been to, it's a great option for Fort Collins. The food is served on "injera" which is a spongy type of bread. This bread is used instead of silverware to eat the main course... which makes the experience quite entertaining! There are lots of flavors and the food seems very authentic. I enjoyed the lamb dishes that I tried there, and entrees are offered with sides that are quite tasty as well. One of the best things is the extra pieces of injera that they give you.
