Not the easiest membership to cancel. You have to fit certain circumstances. Also, make sure to send certified mail. I sent them a letter via regular mail, thought my membership was canceled, and then 4 years later get a bill for $1000. I received no notifications, no bills in the mail and was not using the gym. Then, four months before the statute of limitations would have ran out, they mail me a bill for a grand.

had a heart attack right after I joined & had signed a auto renewal when I went to get out of contract well of course you cannot get out without huge buyout fee & the yearly renew fee is staggered so that you have to also pay that before your contract runs out & you cannot let them know that ahead of time you have to physically be on there site at a certain time to get out of the contract as of now I have been there 2 times already & still have to go back what kind of deal is that just a bunch of owners that are hard up for money never mind that I am on a fixed income may they get what is coming to them like maybe they will have a heart attack one day & have to deal with a bunch like themselves I have given of my time & money for many years & always had the faith in human nature that if you treat people right you will be treated the same well have I had a big kick in my teeth but I will not change the way I treat people some of these clubs are all about themselves may you have a nice day We Blackburn look it up planet fitness

Planet Fitness is a great gym for it's price. For only $10/month, you are getting the world's best equiptment. There are also nice tvs for entertainment and tanning booths if necessary. Their motto is "No Judgement" so you feel very comfortable working out.

The hours are great too for those with very busy schedules.

what a scam,the only intimidation i saw was the two steroid Lunks,the manager and his hired thug,they cancelled my membership for putting two 15 lb. rubber dumbells too loudly onto a rubber mat,I can't believe tese bullies are gettin away with this.Thier goal is to kick out as many members and rip them off as possible. good luck with these conmen

For working out, it is worth the price. They offer a lot of deals that will suit almost any budget, so do not feel that you cannot afford to pay to work out at this gym. You do not need to worry about waiting for equipment, things move along nicely. It is a pretty good staff and you will feel comfortable at this gym.

PROS: cheap
CONS: atmosphere

If your looking to get in shape, then Planet Fitness is for you. They offer a plethora of workout equipment such as treadmills, bicycles, freeweights, and other muscle strengthening exercises. The staff at this gym are very helpful, and have helped me learn how to use the machines properly. I highly recommend this gym for anyone who is trying to get in shape.

The treadmills here can get kinda annoying if your a big guy, but all in all, it is a nice place. One of my friends will join next month and gonna start weight training. He was going to join, but he broke his arm. He is going to take weight training and see how good they will help him rehabitilitate. This is a great place to workout.

Planet Fitness has everything you need to get in or stay in shape. The gym and locker rooms are spotless, they have all new equipment - a good mix of free weights, dumbells and machines, plenty of cardio equipment, and it's not overly crowded. There is very little gym "attitude", no meathead power lifters, no glitzy stuff, no juice bar, no aroma-therapy, no day care, no sauna and no aerobic classes. If you are looking for glitz this isn't your place. If you are looking for a good place to workout with good equipment, a great location and great prices, it's worth checkng out.

PROS: facility, equipment, location, price
CONS: I really don't have any gripes - let's just hope it doesn't go down hill

My sole reason for joining this Gym is because of the incredible monthly membership fee. They had an enrollment special at the time that I joined. It was only 10 dollars a month with a 29 dollar enrollment fee. If you go on their website they currently have an even better special that allows you to enroll for only 99 dollars for an entire year. Very Cheap. Of course there is a down side to the affordable fees. They don't have a daycare so If you have young children you can give it up. They don't have any aerobics classes. The treadmill and stair stepper can get a little monotonous.
