Cary Medical Group is one of the best Doctor's Offices I have ever had. They treat you will care and compassion. My Doctor there helped me with alot of issues that needed attending to. I recommed this practice to EVERYONE!!! When I come into the office, I never have to wait nor when I call do I ever have to wait for hours to get a return call. The Staff is very friendly and as long as they are there I will be attached to them!!!

My mother, husband and I have been going to Cary Medical Group for over 10 years now. Their new offices have cut down overcrowding and since they have added a walk in clinic, we have never been refused an immediate consultation. We have found our doctors to be kind, professional and thorough. In 2000 my doctor found a lump (just by physical exam) that the hospital misdiagnosed. Over the years, our doctors have come to know us. Recently I had to call the "on call" physician trying to decide whether to go the ER. Two weeks later when I took my mother in for her annual check up he asked me how I was doing since I had talked to him. I know they have many patients so I was very surprised that he remembered my after hours call.

I recently moved to the area and went to Cary Medical group for a physical. Fine, except that they obviously don't read through any of your information before they come in the room. I had been there for a "initial appointment to establish service" before coming for my physical. When the doctor came in for the physical, I spent a good ten minutes answering the same questions she asked in the initial appt. Then I had a test run and the results were questionable. When I went back the following week to have the test repeated I was told again it was questionable and they would call me. Over the next 2 days I had to call them twice to get a call back about my results. The response? "Your test was fine." I said "you told me it was questionable TWICE and now I'm having another symptom." She said "well the results are all fine so you need to come back in if you're having a new symptom". I wanted to say "well, if you idiots hadn't let it go for TWO DAYS and had started me on medication then I wouldn't have a new symptom!!". I went to a walk in clinic the next day, had the same test done, got the meds and I'm fine now. I won't be going back to Cary Med Group. Also, did I mention this particular nurse had a really bad attitude???

Both my wife and I were patients of this practice for 2 years before we "giving up" on this group of docs and finding another. We both found them unresponsive to phone calls. My last visit I was treated rudely by my doc's nurse, being told that he only had time to address one "complaint". But what finally convinced us was the refusal of my wife's doc to monitor her during a fast, even to the point of receiving a certified letter stating they absolved themselves from any responsibility. These docs seem more interested in the legal ramifications of their decisions rather than the Hippocratic Oath, part of which states the following:

"I will remember that I remain a member of society, with special obligations to all my fellow human beings, those sound of mind and body as well as the infirm."

To add insult to injury, they followed it up with another letter stating that if we wished to have our medical records (which, at this point in time, we had not yet requested), we would be required to pay for them. Enough said...

The doctors here are great. I have been going here for a little over three years now and have always had a great experience. I love the fact that I can get an appointment pretty quickly when I need to and I have never had an issue with coming into the office with an emergency, they are usually able to see me right away, which is a problem that I had encountered with my previous doctor. The doctors are all very nice and kind, understanding people, I do have a doctor that I most often see when I go there but have no problems seeing a different doctor when my regular one is not available. The office is great because there is always parking available. I have insurance so the price is pretty affordable.

PROS: kind, professional, available parking
CONS: none really

I was going to this practice for many years and I had to change. The last several times I was there, they had increased the number of docters in the practice. Also, had cut down on each doctors space to make enough offices. Every time I went, there were lots of new patients filling out forms. The doctors were good people but I found them to be so tired. The office girls would let you sit waiting for so long and one time convenently forgot about me until everyone in the practice was going home. I personally did not appreciate that fact.
