The Sherwood Target is clean and relatively well-organized, although they rearrange things a lot, which means that an item you need is never in the same place twice. Some of the aisles are a little cramped or sometimes blocked, so getting your cart through this store smoothly, especially with kids, is not going to happen.

The DOLLAR SECTION in the Sherwood store is kind of hit or miss. Sometime I go in and find a lot of fun things, other times, even my kids say it's full of "dumb stuff." I have been to other Target stores, and in comparison, this one has a much smaller $1 section than the others.

Their SEASONAL & HOLIDAY section has some fun things. But the Sherwood store needs to have a larger stock of these items in general. There is only a short period between the time they put out the merchandise for the upcoming holiday and the time when it's all been picked over. Other Target stores still have great stuff left after the holiday, and you can get it half price.

The Sherwood store has some STOCKING difficulties. More than once I have gone to buy a specific item, only to find that the whole entire section is missing. Also, I was recently looking for a specific type of body lotion (I had received a free sample that I liked), but they didn't have it. They had tons of other lotions, including some that were the same brand I wanted but the wrong type. Why would they carry a manufacturer's entire line excepting one product? I found it at WalMart.

Target (storewide) has good values on their CLEARANCE ITEMS. They also have reasonable prices on a variety of HOUSEHOLD items... you know, the things that are no fun but you have to buy them, like cleaners and toilet paper.

I especially like to go here for KIDS' CLOTHES. Although they may not be the best quality clothes available (many of the girls shirts are printed just on the surface rather than having the fabric dyed), they are cute. Besides, my kids usually outgrow clothes before they wear them out, so why not save a little money? I usually get winter coats and Easter dresses here, too.

The SHOES are really inferior quality, though. More than once, I've bought shoes for my son here, only to find them falling apart in less than a month.

Don't get too excited about finding CLOTHES FOR YOURSELF here. The selection is really hit or miss. The only clothes I get for myself at Target are jeans and t-shirts from the men's section (I'm tall, and the women's clothes are just too short.) These are always a good deal.

Target used to have a very liberal RETURN POLICY, which is important to me. If something turns out to be wrong or broken when I get my purchases home, I don't want a lot of grief about returning it. Their new policy (storewide) is that you have to have the receipt, and the return must be made within 90 days. I think the reason they made that rule is because, after extensive research they discovered that the average useful life expectancy of an item purchased from Target is about 100 days. So, buyer beware: that unbelievably low-priced item could be a great value or just cheaply-made.
