We used Mr. Ward to inspect our house and in-ground pool prior to buying. He left many things out of the report that were vital regarding our decision to purchase the home. After moving in we began noticing many things that were not documented. These were problems that without a doubt were present prior to the closing. These were also problems that had we been made aware of through his inspection, we would have declined to purchase the house. We then consulted another real estate inspector who completed a second inspection report. He could not believe the things that Mr. Ward failed to document.
When confronted with this matter, Mr. Ward became angry and insisted that his reason for the poor report was that he was "having a bad day." Too bad for us I guess. We have since had to spend in excess of $20,000 so far (that's right $20K!) correcting the problems that he missed so that one day we will be able to sell the house. He is currently under investigation by the Texas Real Estate Commission regarding our complaint. Once that is complete a civil suit will follow.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
