Superior Plumbing

I had a major leak to the main line from the meter. They promised to show up during a window from 8am-12pm. They never showed up. It turns out they had failed to inform me of their policy that they will not honor the appointment unless they establish phone contact first. Given what somone above said about the cost of repairing a main line, I am now really glad they did not show up.

Please be warned. You are far better off ignoring giant companies with giant Yellow Pages ads like Superior, and simply asking your friends and neighbors to tell you about a good, dependable local plumber. That is what we did, and we got a swift, quality, reasonably priced repair.

Where do I begin? First, we had a problem with our meter to house drainage in Dec 2010. Called Superior and Ken came out on schedule and took care of the problem. Then on 2-2-11, we somehow got water in our gas lines, and had no heat, hot water or gas cooking ability. They sent Mike out and he patiently explained what needed to be done and at a reasonable price and completed the job in a timely manner. Both employees were exceptional!!!! I will call them when I need to have the main drainage line taken care.

This company has poor customer service and I am still waiting on someone to show up and have been told someone was going to be here all day. This caused me to miss work and I could have found someone else! They do not care and noone even called me! Was told several different things. Noone communicates in this company. I would NOT recommend them. My basement is wet and I could have had someone else today!!!

I had a leak in our shower head so he said the water pressure was too high and it caused the shower head leaks. He charged me $600 for fixing the leak. I called the delta company to find out how much it would cost to change the appliance and they quoted me for $150 to remove the shower head and hot and cold turned. I was really mad that I had to pay $600 to change a small part which cost $40.00. I would never ever call them and I have also emailed my neighborhood not to used them. Since I have moved to Atlanta, I feel like every single company do that to you. Thank God we are moving.

Wow, they fixed it and fixed us too. Had a leak in the yard, from the main to our house. They fixed it and charged us over $2000 for 4 hours of work. They said they don't have hourly rates, just "base prices". I'm guessing there is a reason why they were the only ones who could start immediately, they are so friggin expensive that unless you have an emergency you'd never pay their prices. Look elsewhere for a plumber.

WAY overpriced. Just paid them almost $650 to fix pipe coming into the house. It took them a little over an hour, and the invoice showed less than $50 in parts. Guess I should have become a plumber at that hourly rate. Will NOT use them again.

When I was asked to call a plumber for our small office, I immediately dialed 770.422.Plum since the song was stuck in my head from the car radio. The dispatcher was very friendly and quickly set our appointment. The plumber arrived on schedule. He was very professional and even helped us lower the price, which was reasonable in the first place. If you know how to do the work, or if you have time to do the work the price of a professional always seems extravagant. You just have to balance your abilities with the convenience. I probably could have removed the tank, thoroughly cleaned the holes, replaced the seals, broken a nail, ignored my work and fixed the problem, but I was glad to let the pros do it.

I would definitely recommend this company. I had them out to take care of what I thought was a big problem. The technician told me it was a small problem - costing much less than I had expected. He could have easily sold me the larger, more expensive, unnecessary repair....but was honest instead. Next time I need a plumber I won't think twice - Superior.

I had a bad leak in my bathroom and these guys sorted it out in a couple of hours.They cleaned everything afterwards toom which was great.Definitely worth the money.
