I am a graduate of USC's master's program. I would highly recommend this school for graduate work. Despite the fact that I have had a few "difficult" (when I say that, I don't mean the work is hard, it means their personalities are difficult to deal with) professors, I would say the quality of faculty is pretty good. Unfortunately to take a single graduate level class is almost $900, so that makes it pretty expensive. There are grant programs that may be available in certain areas, so I would certainly encourage all to inquire about those.

Located in downtown Columbia, USC is one of the finest universities the south has to offer. Recently they have begun a huge renovation on campus to improve the research facilities. The historic horseshoe is the original USC campus, and located along the horseshoe is McKissick museum. Also the Gamecock athletic facilities are top notch and worth going and checking out a game at.
