Rancho Solano Private Schools

The schools are home like, very clean and have a small child to teacher ratio. However, their schools are not for everyone or any kid. There is a heavy homework load and I feel the Greenway campus particularly has struggled even still, with finding a qualified administrator. My children have attended 2 different campuses. They were consistent in nearly all areas but the Greenway campus does seem to offer a lot more "fun activities" and have a much more impressive tech and science department than the other campuses. Overall, we love Rancho and feel for the right family it is a great school.

On the bad note and the reason for the poor ratingis because a large reason why I have been taking my kids there for years is because it was one of a kind. The home like atmosphere and being a family owned business and ran as such made it stand way out from all the rest. Recently the family has sold to investors and the entire Rancho dynamic is diminishing very quickly. It has become more corporate and more like a lot of other private schools in the valley. I do feel that I and my children have become more of a number. We will sadly not be returning next year.

This is a great school for people who want a child to go to an Ivy League college. The children here are very well behaved and smart, but that's all. They are far less creative than those in traditional schools because they miss out on all the activities! I will say the staff is amazing - kind, friendly, down to earth and the school itself is beautiful - clean, well taken care of, and large enough, but when I visited I was upset by the lack of activities. I want my children to grow both academically and creatively and this just was not the place.

This is a very nice private preschool and school to attend. It is very nice and top notch school. They have many activites for the children. They are very high on all their academics. I have seen kindergarteners that are multiplying and four year olds that are reading. This school teaches the children very very well. But they are so into the academics that they children have a lot of homework and do not get much time to play or just be a kid. They don't do as much extra curriculars like music and art as I would like. It's a great school for the right kid and parents
