I stopped at this complex the other night to go to the convenient store and decided to try this place since it was next door.

I must admit, I wasn't expecting authenticity from a pho restaurant out here (I'm from LA), but I was pleasantly surprised! The staff are extremely friendly and the restaurant itself is very clean. I had egg rolls for the appetizer, and was told by the server that they're made in-house. These were great and I highly recommend them. For my entree I had the pho. The broth was very dynamic and tasty, and the cuts of meat were great. My companion had the bun bo hue and thought it was especially great. I'll definitely have to come back and try a few more of their signature dishes!??

This is my go-to place for pho whenever I'm in the area. The staff are super friendly (which is so hard to come by at authentic Viet places) and the restaurant itself is also one of the most consistently cleanest. The pho broth tastes like authentic home cooking, which I love. If I'm not ordering pho, then I usually get bun hen, the spicy clams...there aren't a lot of places that serve it, but this place definitely gets it right! The only downside I've found is the awkward location.

I and few friends decided to try this place after a long road trip just because none of had eaten here before. Walked in (it was hot and humid that day), it was empty except for one table (this was during peak dinner time on Friday) and there was NO A/C but a greasy, dusty fan blowing hot air from outside. We should have left right there and then, but we were all tired and hungry.

The table was sticky, the condiments (hot sauce, hot oil and etc) looked like they were past expiration date. When our food finally came (the place was empty, so why took them so long?), we all had a bite/mouthful of our food (we all ordered different dishes, all noodles in broth), looked at each other and made the face. I had to spit out mine. Both the noodles and the broth tasted very old and ODD - as in they've gone bad.

About a week later, I was in the same strip mall running errands when I saw a worker (the same guy I had seen working in not so clean looking kitchen and brought our food out) smoking right outside the restaurant, wearing a very soiled apron, oh wait, that's not all. As I was starting my car and watching him the whole time, he finished his cigarette, coughed into his palms and wiped his palms on the apron and walked back into the restaurant. Somehow I doubted he'd wash his hands. Eeeeek!

Pros: none

Cons: dirty workers, unsanitary environment and disgusting food

The pho here is great - very authentic and always made fresh and hot. The service here is very friendly. I make it a point to come for lunch at least twice a week if not more. Highly recommended.

I love Vietname food. So when I saw Pho Hoai, a little Vietnamese restaurant near by my house, specializing in soup, I tried it. The soup was the best I've ever tried. They also had my favorite dish, which is combination of fresh vegetables, noodles and barbecued meat.
The atmosphere was friendly and comportable. I want this in a restaurant that I may want to eat at regularly. I want delicious food, good service and cleanliness. Pho Hoai has these qualities in abundance. Yes, it's my kitchen away from home

This is a first time I tried out Pho Hoai. I love their service, very friendly and respect. I will bring my family back here to try out a delicious "PHO".
Thank you.

I'll start off saying I'm a little harsh on this place. I eat pho constantly and am used to southeast and Gresham pho. This place had not very good chicken wings. The pho was bland, not bad just not. Amazing. Price seemed reasonable and the waiter was super friendly something hard to fine at a pho reastuarant besides pho van. I would rank there brother just a tad worse then pho huie. Pho Oregon has the best pho followed by pho van

My husband loves Pho, so we went yesterday to this place, it was empty, so I had my doubts to starts with. I ordered grilled lemongrass chicken with vermicelli noodles. the chicken was reheated and at least 3 days old! I almost threw up. I could not eat my dish. My husband's pho was ok in terms of flavor but he complained that there were unidentifiable pieces of meat in there...not appetizing. would never ever go back and dont recommend it to anyone who cares what they put in their mouth.

This is pho at a reasonable price. My Vietnamese coworkers swear by this place. They tell me it is a very traditional pho. It isn't my favorite pho place because I don't feel the vegetables are as fresh as at some of the other places and if I don't feel like eating meat the other alternatives I've tried have not had a good flavor. I also don't think the noodles have as good of a flavor or texture as some of the other pho places I've eaten. It has a nice large seating area so it is usually easy to get a table. It seems reasonably clean and service is quick.

We had never even noticed this place, it's so small. Actually, we only tried it because the place we were going to go to was closed - and it turned out to be great! Their pho is excellent, and the accompanying veggies fresh and crisp. Their various noodle and rice dishes are so good we've back a few times to try more things. I hate to give away the location of my fabulous secret, but I can't keep this one to myself!

This is a tiny little restaurant, but it's always packed at lunch time, and that's because the food is so good. The Pho is super yummy. I haven't tried anything else yet, because the pho is just that good. It's inexpensive, and the staff are super friendly.

I love this place! When I was pregnant I craved the avocado and jackfruit shakes! I also love the pho with the beef and tripe. It's always clean and the service good.

PROS: Try the shakes!
