Wish I could give this company no stars. This agency claims to 1) put candidates through the hoops then 2) say they screen out 80% of the candidates. Here is the shocker they post on craigslist at least twice a week looking for nannies.

I would like to refer anyone with children to Mom's Best Friend for any sitter or nanny needs they may have. As a busy parent, the MBF staff makes it so easy; to where I only have to make ONE call to the agency, and they will find a wonderful caregiver for my children. The nannies who I have met have a great deal of experience of working with a variety of age groups. Many nannies I have encountered have also been with the company for years, and never cease to amaze my family. In regards to the background checks, I encourage any clients to visit their website to view the News clip (see Press Room-In the News), where Mom's Best Friend was interviewed by FOX & KVUE, and includes information on the very extensive and accurate background check company they use. It is a great feeling to trust the caregivers who are coming to my home. I STRONGLY recommend this agency for the trusted and exceptional care of your children!

They charge your credit card with their commission, it's easily $2000+.. The nanny took off after one day. MBF won't return the money, but will promise to send another. The candidates were billed as nannys, most had a little babysitter experience.. They run a bait and switch, ie. MBF candidates ask for 13/hr at the interview and you'd agree, they'd call the day before wanting $18/hr and 10 more hours per week. No nanny but a feeling you just got scammed big time.
