I do not eat fast food very often but do enjoy Taco Del Mar when I am looking for a quick quality bite to eat in the city. I usually eat at the one on Broadway on Capital Hill, or in the Westlake shopping mall downtown. I was meeting a friend for the movie and was closer to the convention center than to westlake and decided to go to that one instead. Upon walking up to the counter where there where two employees I was not acknowledged for several minutes. I asked to order and was greeted by a curt employee that seemed more interested in talking with here co-worker and wipe down counters than in my business. I ordered a super and so did my friend. My friend asked if he could have no sour cream and a little extra guacamole on his burrito. He was quickly told that would be extra even though I was ordering a super with sour cream and no guacamole. He agree and said that was fine, but was still told that the reason was their food costs. At this time he had agreed to pay the extra but just wanted to get his food. The burrito was the SMALLEST one that i have ever recieved at any taco del mar. I have been going to taco del mar for years. There was hardly any meat in either one of or burritos. The food was not good but the icey reception and service was probably worse. We went to sit down but before we did the employee pushed all the tables and chairs to the side to sweep. This was at about 2pm and they are open until 7pm. We a sat at the conter instead and enjoyed our sub-par meals. The tables and chairs were stille pulled aside when we left, and the floor was still not swept. By the time we left there were four employees and about four customers including us. Will not be back to this location.!!!
