Morad owns a little road-side storefront in Westwood. His office is not impressive. To make matters slightly more uncomfortable, Morad tends to serve a largely Persian clientele. This means that 90% of the time he is speaking to people in his office or even on the phone in some combination of Persian/Iranian. He is evidently a VERY busy man, since the phone never stops ringing and there are constantly people walking into and out of his office. Suffice it to say that I was a little concerned about sharing my personal information. I am sad to admit that this was a clear case of racial profiling on my part - - but with the heightened tensions between Iran and the West these days, I couldn't help my initial trepidations. Nevertheless, Morad somehow put me at ease with his smile and honest demeanor. Before long I received everything I needed to go to the next step. Take my documentation to the post office. Lisa at the post office handles passports. She's a very nice woman who immediately recognized the telltale manilla envelope from Morad. She exclaimed, "Oh, you've been over to see Morad!". I asked her if he was reputable and she assured me that he is. Lisa processed my paperwork in 2 minutes. Morad asked me to call him once my paperwork was filed. I did. He told me he would call once he had my passport in hand. What happens next is a bit of a mystery to me, but evidently, Morad himself, or someone he delegates stands in line at the Federal building next door and walks your passport application through each step of the process. I am told that he gets in line at midnight to ensure that he is first to be taken care of each morning. The net result is that he gets your passport back in 4 business days. In my case, it was 3! All I needed to do was show up between 10am-2pm and he presented me with my new passport. Bottom line is that Morad is the real deal. If you need a passport fast, he may be your only option outside of some fly-by-night internet service.

Pros: Fast service. Does what he says he's going to do.

Cons: Uncomfortable office. Not many English speaking US citizens know about Morad.
