The food was really disappointing...especially after reading good reviews for this place. The food was so bland and any flavor & spice that was to be had tasted jarred and like it was added right before handing me my plate. I don't like the way they do their Chkn Tika Masala here. Kind of reminded me of frozen Indian food you can heat up in the microwave. Not sure why people like this place, but maybe it's just because I really like my spices and don't like watered down or fast food versions of ethnic food.

Pros: free bland tea

Cons: no flavor

I highly recommend House of Curries, especially over Naan and Curry. There is one on Durant and Bowditch and on College as well.

The Paneer Tikka Masala is particularly good, it's very reasonably priced and fun to split dishes with friends. Also, you get as much free Chai tea as you want.

I'm not always a big fan of curry, but I actually liked it when I ate at this place. The curry isn't too strong. I like the dish where you dip the bread into a plate of curry sauce and chicken.

We went to this place several times and its always wonderful,. It's open when many other restuarants are closed, quick service, good and tasty food. They also have free chai (tea) . I would recommend without reservation!
