First I want to say shame on you MIKE.... Taking advantage of a female that trusted you too fix her car... Isn't that what you said it would be just like you picked it up from the dealer..(MY CAR). UGH trust your instincts !! I got that feeling something is wrong I should've trusted it... He quoted me less than my dealer to fix so who wouldn't want to save money right?? Well needless to say in the middle of the week he decides to tell me there's more damage ... $1500.00 more damage plus $400.00 dollars in taxes.. My $3800.00 damage turned into $5300.00 worth but oh if you pay in cash I will cut it down to $5000.00.. Needless to say My bumber looked like some blind guy spray painted it.. I could've done a better job. I took it back to my dealer and parts weren't even screwed back in. THIS Just reassured me not to trust anyone. !! So very sad !! He HAD THE NERVE to send me on my way knowing the damage that he had done and charged me for it.!! I am in the process of taking him to small claims court fir this. He did more damage than I did in the first place ....... He should be shut down !! NEVER ALLOWED TO WORK AGAIN AS A MECHANIC-- He falls into that FAULTY NO GOOD SCUM THAT KNOWS DARN WELL WAS HE IS DOING AND SOME HOW MANAGES TO SLEEP AT NIGHT UGH YOU MAKE ME SICK . Please let my mistake not be yours it's not worth it. I have learned my lesson I will do more research in the future. But I was going to him for oil changes before ...scary he's like this back door WANT TO BE MECHANIC !!! MIKE YOU MAKE ME SICK YOU SHOULD JUST CLOSE YOUR DOORS !!!! MIKE YOU DON"T DESERVE TO CHARGE PEOPLE FOR WHAT YOU ARE DOING YOU ARE DAMAGING PEOPLES CARS AND LIVES... !!! I could go on and on and would not even scratch the surface on this situation.. I had tried to call and tell him the problem and he hung up on me !! UGH THIS SHOULD HAVE NO STARS RATING !! SHOULD NOT EVEN DESERVE TO BE A CALLED A BUSINESS UGH !!!! VERY UNSATISFACTORY !!!!!!!!!!!

Not my cup of tea really. It's just not good business to be waiting for your car to be done and witness a n upset customer demanding them to fix the car because it wasn't done well in the first place, and have them turned away with a refusal to fix the problem. I'd be upset too. Oil changes I guess are fine, but I wouldn't come here for other services.

The customer service is awful. I just wrote a review on google reviews too. After what I experienced and reading other people's reviews, I figure if enough people write, something might get done. I went here twice. The first time the guy I spoke to was Mike- not very friendly, very preoccupied. I wasn't on his priority list. The second time I decided to go back only because it was convenient (which I have since learned is not a reason to go somewhere), but I was turned away because they were going to take a "lunch break" and couldn't do it. I won't go back.

PS: To "Christine P."- Yes he may have great sounding deals, but I doubt the parts hold up long, and might try to get you the next time you go in. Be careful. I have learned it is better to go the professional, trusted mechanics for auto repair. Don't mess with your life.

Oh my goodness, I feel the exact same way! Mike, the manager, should not be a manager. Needs to take an ethics class, and manners while he's at it. And my car has not been running the same since I took it there.

If I could shut this place down I would! I can write all I want though, and try to keep others from making a big mistake...
You can bet I will be writing the BBB.
I should have just bit the bullet and bought a new car. My car is a ten year VW, and lately I have had issues with my ABS sensor going off. I will feel this crazy vibration coming from the brakes, and then the sensor will go off, randomly! It happens quite a few times a month.
I took my car in to Expert Auto to get it's oil changed, and to get a brake inspection due to the ABS issue. Well, needless to say, they decided to take advantage of me because I am female. The said it was the brake pads and maybe the sensor, but they had to keep it a couple days to fix it. When I came to get my car, the total for those two things was $600! What an f*&^ing rip off!! For labor?!? I ended up paying this and left. I realized that night that they had not changed the oil like they should have for free. A couple weeks pass, and I get the SAME PROBLEM!! My brakes are vibrating and shaking my car and the ABS light comes on then goes back off!!! So I take it back and kindly ask them to fix it. The owner is there, whatever the hell his name is, and says they can't tell what's wrong if the warning light isn't on, that they have to keep it with them and have a "mechanic" drive it home to 'see if it will turn on'! I wasn't okay with that but I decided to let it go if they could just fix the stupid problem I already paid them to do!
So I have to call THEM the next day and check up on my car and they still haven't figured it out, but say it could be the computer module which he says is $700?!? Shut the f*%& up dude, I'm not paying you more money for something you should have fixed in the first place. The owner doesn't even apologize, but says I don't have to fix it and that it will be ok without it. So WHY did I just pay you $600?!? He says they changed the oil, and I leave fuming inside, but still calm on the outside.
I go to turn on my car and leave, when I see a HUGE cloud of smoke coming out of the back of my car!!!!!! So I run in and ask what the hell they did with my car?!? YOu over charge me for something you NEVER fixed and you can't even CHANGE THE OIL?!? The next thing I know, this Spanish-speaking only oily guy comes running around the corner and drives my car to the back of the shop, out of view. My boyfriend happened to be with me this time, and we go around the back of the shop to investigate. What do we see? About eight Mexican men, some with kids laying around and reclining around the walls, with the kid inside the shop with the cars. And what are they looking at? The oily guy trying to burn the oil off!! I was absolutely fuming...they tried to tell me they need to keep it another 30 minutes to burn the oil off and stop it from smoking but by then I was too mad to let another one of them even TOUCH my car, so the "owner" without even apologizing walks up to me and gives me the keys.
MORAL OF THE STORY??? Don't get caught up in one of their scams. And beware of who is working on your car and what they try to hide!!
STAY AWAY FROM EXPERT AUTO CENTER! It's not worth their "deals," pay the extra four dollars somewhere else and get piece of mind.

They have another location on Desert Inn in Las Vegas. They have screwed me and screwed me and now I am just done. I think because I am a woman, they can keep telling me different things about what is wrong with my car! And after 4 appointments, my car still isn't fixed!!! These owners (this shop and the one on Boulder Hwy) are related. I spoke with one of the sons who told me. All I can say is, if one family member acts this way, then the other must too. Don't go here!

On 8 September, 2007 Expert Auto Center supposedly replaced my ignition cables. On 26 January, 2008 my car died during a long trip. I performed a visual inspection of the ignition cables and discovered them to be much older than 4-1/2 months. I am retired from the USAF and have 20 years experience as a mechanic.

My vehicle was towed to a garage and I was informed the ignition coil and ignition cables needed replacing. I told the manager they were supposedly replaced a few months ago. He replied they were obviously much older than a few months, which is what I expected.

On 31 January, 2008 I returned to Expert Auto Repair, presented the old ignition cables to the manager and explained the situation. The manager was uncooperative and stated he could prove with a receipt that new cables were ordered for the vehicle and demanded an apology. I did not ask to see the receipt, because it does not prove the cables were actually installed.

I strongly suggest you refrain from doing business with this facility

After reading the reviews on the insider pages for Expert Auto Repair, I decided to take my car in. I needed to get my 90,000 mile service and get my timing belt changed in my Honda civic. Mike, the manager, had beat other quotes by four hundred dollars! He had a special for the 90,000 mile service for $125 which beat out all the compition by at least $150. By far, Expert Auto Repair also had the best price on fixing the timing belt, other auto repair shops wanted to charge me $400 in labor alone. The service was great, everyone was friendly and Mike was very honest, fixing what needed to fixed and nothing more. My car now runs great, and the repair didn't break the bank. I have recommended him to friends and I would recommend him to anyone who needs a honest mechanic. Finding someone you can trust to take your car to is a big relief, Expert Auto Repair will be getting ALL of my business.
