Great little place that opened across the street from the Hyatt, with wonderful breakfasts and lunches. They will stay open all summer. Champagne served at breakfast is a great deal with glasses for a couple of bucks .The food is american comfort .

Before this restaurant opened, I was excited at the possibility of dining there. My excitement was forever changed on Sunday when my family was denied service due to the fact that we have a child. When we walked up, we notice that the patio was full so we proceeded to walk inside.. I walked in first, followed by my husband who was pushing our daughters stroller. Before he was even inside, we were greeted with "Sorry you aren't welcome here." Not "Hello, welcome to Patrick's!" As my jaw dropped, and I felt a lump form in my throat, we were then plainly told that "Children were not welcome inside, but we are welcome to take a table outside." Apparently, if our daughter were to cry it would have upset the one guest that was eating in the small dining area, but outside among the ten or so people it would have been alright. When we kindly told the person that there were no available tables outside, we were met with no fair middle ground, or any other alternative other than we were not welcome. Another patron that was dining on the patio, and was soon to depart offered us her table but by this point I was very offended and could not have enjoyed my meal.... Mind you, this all took place in less than a minute, and we were very polite. We just wanted to have a nice lunch together.... It is very rare that we get the opportunity to sit down, and have a nice social meal as we are new parents - to a lovely, very well behaved infant. Although the food may be great, and other patrons may be pleased with the service I will never return to give this restaurant mine. Not only was it wrong for the gentleman (the owner) to assume our "sleeping" daughter would cry, but it was very unprofessional of him to treat us with such disrespect. If anything I hope other people do not get treated this way in the future. Nothing ever upsets me, but Sunday afternoon it did.

Pros: It is a quiet location.

Cons: The owner of the business was very rude.

This is a local restaurant that I have been meaning to try out. It is located downtown near Hair of the Dog.
