Well I??m amazed that anyone can find fault with this place. When in Glendale eat here.
The meals we??ve had, have been excellent. It??s clean and nicely decorated in a modern minimalist style. The wine list is small, we don??t need 300 to chose from.
The staff have always been attentive. I relax and share the staff with others.
It??s not the cheapest but you get what you pay for, very nicely presented and tasty fresh food with no chemical additives and a pleasing bottle of wine .
The owner takes a lot of trouble to ensure there are no chemicals in any of the food.
It??s perfect for me and my friends. Love the place. Evening parking after 5:00 pm, free !
If you like MSG in your food go some where else !
I have lived in Thai Town for 10 years. Been to Thailand many times and Decorator on Thai Cultural Day Committee.

Pros: Many

Cons: still looking

Having moved to Glendale from Beverly Hills I was constantly looking for great "replacement" restaurants that could fill void of great food. Tep Thai has definately surpassed the void for thai. The entrees are outstanding...I love the, seafood ala king, tep thai fried rice and the sweet and sour chicken. The ingredients are FRESH and portions are generous. The wine list is lacking and they do not have a full bar. Delivery is prompt and credit cards are welcome. The ambience is very sleek and wonderfully lit. The owners are always there to greet and make sure things go well with a smile....

The bozo complaining in the previous review probably asks for Chop Sticks when he eats thai....Ignore his uneducated palate.

After having eaten thai food all over LA, the SFV, the SCV, VC and so on...I still have to say that I really love their food. Of course there are other places that are just as good (for those of you who have mentioned other places) but Tep Thai overall does a very good job with their food, the renovation looks awesome, and the owners are super nice. I was really surprised to see the bad reviews.

Pros: I love their chicken curry! Parking is super easy.

Cons: The only con is that they are a little pricey.

.

The food is good, but a bit over priced. It is definitely not my favorite thai place, but it does offer a nice atmosphere. I guess that's what your paying for when you go there.

stay away from this place. it's bad. bad. bad. I ordered here last night for dinner and when I got home the noodles in the Pad See Yu were rubbery and tasteless. The chicken as well. The soup we got, wonton soup, was small (one wonton in the soup). I would describe it as greasy and gritty, editable.

The place is cold, sterile and apparently invested more in decor than cooking lessons. Side note, the Maitre D' looked like something out of Clockwork Orange.....

should have been a warning enough. Go to Thai in LA on Brand. Good place... or Ghindi Thai in Burbank.

My wife introduced me to Thai food in Glendale at"Thai in LA" restaurant about 5 years ago. After ordering home delivery from Tep Thai about a month ago my wife and I came to visit "Tep Thai" restaurant during the Christmas Holiday. Tep Thai Restaurant has undoutedly the best food that I have ever tried so far. Whether it is home delivery or dining in you can never go wrong with almost anything on the menu. Almost anything because I have not had the opportunity to try everything. The soups are GREAT! Everything that we have ever ordered has exceeded the expectations of my taste buds. My compliments to the Chef!! Keep up the the great work. You have a customer for life!!

The service was great and the food tastes good. Seating was quick, but unless you have a delivery order, don't expect to be served your food as quick. We were ready to leave after waiting about 45 - 60 minutes for our order. Keep in mind there were a total of only 3 tables waiting for their orders. Delivery orders were given priority as those were the only orders you can see coming from the kitchen. I had to complain about all the delivery orders coming out first. Not sure if I would ever eat there again because of the long wait.

The food wasn't as good as i thought it would be. The portion weren't that great and the food was just average. I'd rather order from Thai in LA.

I've known about this restaurant in Glendale for awhile but just started going to eat here recently. They moved a couple doors down and totally renovated the space. It's beautiful and the food has been great. If you live in Glendale you've probably ordered from this place for delivery but I highly recommend going to eat at their new location.

I'll start off by saying that I've only ordered for delivery. In the past year and a half we've had over 25 deliveries. My family and friends love Thai food. We've tried others and we usually end up saying "Tep Thai has better" something or other. Their "panang" is the best, period. Their chicken fried rice is the second best in Southern California. The curries and BBQ dishes are outstanding. And dang convenient.

Pros: Consistent quality, Credit card okay, 40 mins to delivery

They have pretty good Thai food. I'd recommend any of the curries - red, green, or yellow. It's a small place so don't bring large groups, but the advantage is that the prices are fairly reasonable.
