Trail Dust Steak House

We celebrated my husbands 62nd birthday there over the weekend and had a wonderful time. My grandkids came and enjoyed it also, we had a group of 15 people. The food was excellent, there were good portions and the flavor was wonderful.

The waitress however had a small attitude and she kept rolling her eyes behind peopls backs. My daugheter said she seemed irritated.

The band was great also. My husband and i love to dance and it is great there is a place where a family can go and have a good time without going to a bar or club for adults only.We use to go there about 10 years ago and the food has gotten much better.

I live right down the road in Savannah, and have yet to have a bad experience there. I go about once a week, and I enjoy it very much. They cook my steak to perfection, and the portions are plenty!!

We came to this part of Texas to do a job. The place we parked our RV gave us a gift cert. to Parker Brothers Steak House. We went on a Friday night. Everything was wonderful. The steaks , the margaritas, the dancing. The manager and staff were great . Family friendly. We will go every week while we are near by. And any time we travel through.

A group of us went to eat and ended up dancing until 10pm. We brought our children had a very good time. The food was good and the wait staff is very friendly. I am going back this weekend with another group of friends...save me a seat!

While on a trip to Texas we found a terrific family steak house. In this era of chains and same old same old it was refreshing to be in the real thing. A country restaurant, old time Americana atmosphere and food to DIE for! Came to find out this was the original Trail Dust Steak House owned by the Parker Family. It may seem small and unpretentious but the best steak ever was served to me. I highly recommend the filet. As a side note watching the people on the dance floor was a hoot!

We went on a Tuesday, and it was very slow. I got the Chicken Fried steak, and 2/3 of it was breading, and the gravy was runny. My wife's cheeseburger was burnt. The service was slow, and the light was too dark. Overall it was a very bad experience, and we have no desire to go back.
