It is not coincidence that this childcare center is rated so poorly and under investigation. Please do not ignore what parents tell you. If customers are going out of their way to write a review there is a reason behind it. I discontinued my child enrollment 1 1/2 years ago, and I will not stop warning people of how this place violates standards, It is not an educational environment and it is not safe or where children can thrive. My experience was horrendous. And as a mental health professional I have to say that the dysfunctionality of the couple that runs this place is significant and it affects how they treat children and customers. Fortunately, I have come across parents that have chosen not to bring their children to this center due to the reviews. So please come forward that express your experience with this place.

Please LISTEN! I NEVER write REVIEWS but this place is the worst place to take your kids! I feel like a bad mom for even putting my child there! Ms.Rebecca (Ms.Piggy) is the owner as well as her husband! They do what they want without taking your child or the parent into consideration! My son did henot excel @ all! I went to the school and asked why he isn't learning and Ms.piggy responds well maybe he isn't paying attention...really? That's the first thing you can think of? Come to find out they were ONLY learning 20 minutes out of the day! They had the NERVE to kick my son out because I told them we were moving soon! They didn't want to waste their time on teaching him anymore so they called me and said Last week was his last! 2 day notice !!!! They did not do field trips, or programs! They are only in it for the MONEY! They yell at kids, they don't know anything!!! Please KEEP YOUR KIDS AWAY!!!! They take your money and laugh at u When u leave! But they do know how to say GOOD MORNING AND have a good day!!! That's it !!! Take them there and you will see EVENTUALLY!

I too was the mother of a breastfed baby whne she started at kids r kids. She was 7 months old and I was mortified at the fact that I couldn't stay home with her. Especially, this being my first child. I explained to the teachers that she was a breastfed baby and that I was working on getting her to the bottle. I also informed them that she drank from a cup and was on baby food. I also explained to them that she doesn't adapt well to strangers and se had been with me everyday since she was born. As the previous lady stated, I would get her daily paper and it would say bottle-refused. Everyday for almost a month it said that. Then one day she started taking them!!! (Any idiot knows that it would take longer than 2 days) I have not had any problems. They changed her every two hours(and in between if needed). She was fed on schedule. They helped her when it was time for her to start walking. She even took a liking to one of the teachers lol. Even when it was time for her to ""transition"" into the next room, they were helpful. The teachers there are wonderful, the staff is pretty niice and I have not had any complaints. Anytime there is anything wrong, they call. My daughter is now in the one year old room and loves it. She knows sign language and her ABC's and loves to dance and ""sing"". It is great. They even have cameras in every room so that you can see what your child is doing(or isn't) when you can't. That part I loved because my mom could brag on her at work to her friends and I could show my grandparents when they hadn't seen her in a couple of weeks. So it's an awesome place for your kids, especially young, only children.

Stay Away!!!!!
I entrusted my 9 month old with Kids R Kids because I was returning to work. I went on the review of a peer. My experience is one that will leave a bad taste with childcare providers for years to come. I came in advising my child is a breastfed baby and will not take a bottle he is however on table food and baby food. I sent him 2 subsequent days for several hours to my dismay he came home literally starving each day. They required I send bottles even if he doesn't take them. Only to find that is what they kept trying to feed him. So when I picked him up the paper says bottle/refused. As I explained to them writing bottle and refused on the paper doesn't negate the fact my child still hasn't eaten while in their care. The paper also noted diaper changes and when I got there the care giver says I need to change him first. Okay. He had a bm she didnt know until taking his clothes off and needing a change of clothes because it was all down his pants leg. Who knows how long he was sitting in that because her words ""I didnt even smell him."" Only to find when I got home Diaper rash. Ugh. The owner seemed concerned upon first notified then to contradict herself and change her tune the next day. Sad to say one of the most expensive lessons $400 I have learned. Please don't allow anyone you love to be mistreated by these uncaring money hungry people.

I have had my child at Kids R Kids #50 for over 3 years and am extremely happy. All prospective parents should take the time to visit the center and not just read reviews. Many times these reviews come from uninformed parents

Check Kudzu.com for more reviews. I know for a fact that the owners are only after money & they have serious problems with minorities. They cut corners and it shows so they can have more money in their pockets. The amount of $ that you spend here is ridiculous. Your child is not getting quality care. So what are you really paying for? I was interested because of the cameras in the classroom but the quality is very poor. Something has to be wrong with all these complaints. I am glad I pulled my child out of this place.

My daughter has been at Kids R Kids #50 for 2 years and it has been a great experience. The entire staff is very professional. The curriculum is very challenging for the students and the standards are always high. I would recommend this center to anyone with small children.

My son has attended Kids R Kids Salem Road location since it opened 3 years ago. I have very high standards for the care of my son and I could not be happier. They have a wonderful curriculum that focuses on learning and challenges each child individually. The PreK program is incredible. Several children a year older than my son that graduated from PreK last year were able to go straight to first grade. The front desk staff are knowledgeable and friendly and know my son by name. I highly recommend Kids R Kids to anyone who is looking to provide their child with a head start in learning.
