Wonderful food and great service!
Everything was excellent, and the presentation of the dishes was also very impressive. All the kabobs (beef and chicken) came out juicy and flavorful and lets not forget the CRISPY RICE!!! I have been here many times and never leave disappointed.

.

After reading a glowing newspaper review about Shirez, I had to try it for myself. Had ordered the chicken skewers over rice. The order took a long time to be prepared and was more than $12 for the entree. When I arrived at my destination and served the food, there were several large pieces of gravel in the rice. This definitely was unappealing. The chicken was overcooked and not well-seasoned. A far better choice for Persian food is Cafe Papillon in San Rafael.
