Run -don't walk away from these people. We had Peninsula Floors install a hardwood floor through their "design center", they set up for our new home builder, which was New Cities,(also steer clear). After much darkening, spotting, and irregular color started showing through the floor, we found out they did not install the floor properly. We have a cement slab and it needs to be sealed prior to wood being applied. They disregarded the flooring manufacturers instructions on installation and admitted when they came out to see it, that they did not seal it properly. Others in our tract also had similar problems. The head guy, Kelly Finelli, did not want to deal with any of the complaints anymore and after doing a quick fix on one woman's floor, decided to simply ignore us and not respond anymore. This is very sad for us as we had hoped to have our wood floor last longer than 8 years. The best I can hope for is to prevent others from working with these people. They just want to make as much money as they can when the new homes are built and then just disappear. They are putting floors in some 4 million dollar homes across the way and I am going to make sure these people know what a horrible company this is.
