Raves Salon & Day Spa

I've got to say, I was disappointed with my experience at Raves after reading all the reviews. I didn't find the salon atmosphere very professional, and left with a less than pleasing hairstyle. Maybe it the stylist was having a bad day, but now I'm left with this look until my hair grows back out. Cannot give a thumbs up on this salon.

I have never had such an amazing experience at a new hair salon. Jennie was absolutely fantastic, and gave me exactly what I asked for- and then some! If your looking for a new hair stylist, this is the place to go. If you want a spicey sexy look, a tailored look, or anything inbetween, GO to RAVES!!:D The staff is soo fun and friendly, and your guaranteed to get what you want and feel fabulous when you walk out.

I recently moved from Longview, and I've yet to find a salon as good as Rave's in my new location. The staff is fun and friendly, the owners are down to earth and always willing to listen to their customers. The service is beyond excellent and I never left the salon feeling less than 110% satisfied with my experience. I just wish more businesses would operate as well as Rave's, they are definitely one in a million!

And to the poster below who libelously claimed she had a bad experience and falsely stated several 'facts' about Raves ownership; it's enormously clear why the post was anonymous. Were I to act in such an unfounded, immature way, I'd surely be ashamed to attach my name, as well.

All the best to Raves' staff and clientel; this place really is a rare gem!

I had my hair done by Stacie. She was wonderful. She worked with me on my 'weird' request. And she did research and asked for others opinion in order to get it right. She is great. I will continue to go to her.

I have tried many salons and have gone so far as St. Helens Oregon in the hope of finding someone who can deal with my hair. I have naturally unruly thick curls and by the end of the summer I am usually very blonde (which I do not like) none of the salons I tried could make me happy until I found Raves. The staff is wonderful and so is the owner. I have found a stylist that not only can deal with my hair but can match my natural color too. (Great job Ashley). I now get my nails done by Terri and I get massages and pedicures as often as I can. Raves in the place to go and I will never go anywhere else as long as they keep their doors open.

I am a long-time happy customer of Teri's and a local attorney. The poster who suggested that Teri was the previous owner of Hot Heads has her facts completely wrong. I have been a client of Teri's since well before she opened Raves. She has never owned Hot Heads nor had any connection to that business other than to open hers in the same location. Teri and her staff are very professional and ALWAYS concerned with client satisfaction and safety. Just a bit of free legal advice for the poster-she should refrain from making any further potentially libelous statements that might land her on the receiving end of a libel action.

Wow, now she changed her review. Not only changed it, erased her original and rewrote.The poster below is whacked! Terri did not own hotheads. When she bought that salon it had only 2 employees. They are still there too! Terri hired a whole new staff. Raves does not, and never has had a bad reputation. They have only had one bad client who tried to cheat this business out of money. Believe me when I say that Boyes Salon is an excellent salon. Pals is as well. If you want to go to one of those salons for service, we would recommend them because they too are professionals. And of course, so is Raves... Wow, I guess we will get a call from our friends there when she tries to cheat them too! Maybe you should get the facts before you open your mouth. Quit with only your side of the story lady! Stop being a fool. You should be very careful about what you say. The salon business is a very close business and it might be you who is shut out. If you cannot get an appointment anywhere...sorry :(

The review below just shows how much people can lie about you on a daily basis. Her hair was not overprocessed. She brought in hair from a hair brush and told us it was from her head. The hair containes folicals and brush lint consistant with our findings. Terri did not admit to her that her hair was damaged, but offered a conditioning treatment to help her hair. She refused the treatment only wanting her money back and not the care for her hair. Funny, she brought in her kids for hair cuts to the same stylist a week after her hair was colored. Wow, then 3 days after that she complained about her hair.
What is even more impressive about this woman is that she will not add her identity to this page. Also, she had to have her husband call and try to intimidate Terri with a lawsuit. Hmmm. Take your best shot pal! Oh yeah, now you are gonna deal with me...

I recently moved to Longview. Have been searching for a new salon. Heard about Raves, and it's poor reputation. Apparently it was called Hotheads or something. Most of the stylists left following a dispute with the owner Terry. They formed a new salon called Boyes, and took all of their clients with them. It is a beautiful salon. Very professional staff. Great products also. Forget Raves, go to Boyes on Broadway St. You will not be disappointed!!

The ladies at Raves are the bomb! The offer awesome haircuts at reasonable prices. I am going to try some of the other services they offer, such as spa activities, that's how pleased I was with my cut. Keep it up, girls!
