This is my second year hear at The Villas on Bell. Before here we lived at The Greentree Apt Homes for five years. I like RK properties so thats why we moved here to the Villas on Bell. Since we've been here terrible things have happened to us. Well first our neighbor downstairs I believe doesn't want anyone living above her period. She also parks in two spaces so no one can park next to her. Whenever she's home I can't wash my clothes or dry them. I can't vacum, I can't use my dishwasher, can't use any water and can't walk around in my apartment. I didn't know I signed a lease I must live by my nieghbors schedule. I'm not always here and need to do my chores between 3-10PM. She has had us written up and because I must use my appliances on peak time my electricty bill has doubled. She has gone down and told them I use my washer and dryer at all hour in the middle of the night and keep her up. When the truth is she comes home at 3:30 and I'm drying my wash and she doesn't like it. I've seen and heard her washing clothes and drying clothes at 10:30 at night. Should I complain too? I think she just wants us to move. She's very rude too. Never saying hello back when we say hello. Why doesn't she move. I wonder can I sue someone for this harrassment? I should check on it. Can't even walk to the bathroom at night or flush my tolet when she's home. And we get a letter to respect our nieghbors and stop making noise? (You mean don't do anything when the queen is home). Now I have more to tell, but there are too many so I write a few more reviews. Thanks for reading

Pros: big apartments

Cons: Can't use the washer & dryer, dishwasher or vacum

The newest management are jerks. She lost my rent check, then tried to evict me. She didn't even apologize when she found it in the bottom of her drawer. Her family lives there too and I was constantly hearing them bicker. The parking is bad, cars are left there, abandoned. The neighbors are loud, and drive fast through the parking lot.

It could much worse. The biggest problem I have is the parking. Every night I have to park in Compton. My roommate does not fathom the idea of sharing our spot and sticks the first come first serve policy, so thats half the problem. The other half is that all open parking is on the east side of the complex, I live on the west side. Plus my *%&@ of a neighbor won't move his car out of open parking. It has been sitting there for three months. I've never seen anyone get away with that in an apartment complex before. Management personalities changed after we moved in. They are polite at best. They do not recognize you. I was at the pool, and one of the ladies came outside to tell me I needed to have a resident with me to use the facilities. I gave the classic "huh?" look. It was hilarious. Most everyone is friendly and there seem to be plenty of children in the complex... I mean PLENTY! If something breaks don't bother with going to the office, just flag down one of the guys riding around in a golf cart. The complex has that cookie cutter home affect. Everything looks the same. The rent is a little pricey, but that's location more than anything. The split floor-plans ROCK! The place comes fully loaded. Big closets, big laundry room, they don't charge extra for the W/D. The complex is always very clean and very quiet. But the pool is constantly filled with ankle biters and the "fitness room..," well, just join a gym. So basically kick out the new management team, egg your neighbors car once in a while (J/K), bake cookies for the maintenance guys, and you should be okay.

PROS: The floorplans are awesome.
CONS: Parking is HUGE problem.
