I shop this store because it is convenient. Aisles are stocked neatly, even though crowded. There is handicap access by way of scooters.

My first impressions: Needs to be cleaner and updated.I have been overcharged 3 times for the same produce.Over the oranges ther was a sign saying $3.69 per bag. And there was only 1 type of bag full and marked 50 cents off. However at the checkout the bag was weighed and cost me from $5.00 to $7.50. I talked to the manager and he gave me my change from $7.50. He said he would talk to produce. The 3rd time he was not gracious and he argued with me.Also the egg price signs are VERY confusing. The store workers are helpful. But the cashiers seem to be distracted during checkout. They talk to each other or want a break. When there are sales in the store it is beneficial to go.Otherwise, if you have transportation, which I don't, I WOULD SHOP ELSEWHERE.sECURITY IS ON THE BALL.

For most of my 38 years in Phoenix, Bashas was my favorite supermarket. It was within a reasonable distance of my home and for 26 of those years is was on my way to and from my job. On a tight schedule, I was able to shop there quickly either on my way to work or on the way home. What a convenience! It was always well stocked, clean, and the employees most gracious and anxious to help if I needed it. If an item had to be returned, there was never a hassle. An extra bonus: a fantastic bakery section. Just what I sometimes needed - a sugar jolt to keep me going or to buy a delicious desser to serve later at home or to bring as a gift.

Two years ago I moved to Goodyear, a city about 50 miles roundtrip from my Bashas. To my great delight, there is a Bashas near my home. It is located at Camelback and Dysart Roads. Same great people, same quality products, and same great service. Although my new Bashas is somwhat larger, I feel quite at home there. I do my shopping and enjoy its wonderful bakery. Where else can you nibble on a baked donut or sticky bun as you shop or bring home goodies to share with my husband and friends? How great it is!!
