This man is a rip off!! He charged us $2800 to fix the transmission on our Acura truck. A week later the truck was doing the same exact thing as before. We took it back and he kept it for another week to "fix". Then the truck would not go in reverse. We brought the truck back and he continues to give us the run around about when it will be done. 2 weeks later and still no vehicle. We are ready to open a case in small claims court.

Spoke with Tom for a estimate on my vue trans. He quoted me 1,500. Ended up paying 2,900 cash. Drove for a week no reverse. Paid 150 more drove it another week no reverse again. Got it back and drove it and it wouldn't go over 5mph.

I called around to a few transmission repair places in regards to by 2002 Hyundai Accent. I spoke to Tom at Highway Transmission who was very nice and quited me a price of $750. He said if I needed other parts that the price could go up.

I had my transmission rebuilt for my 2003 Saturn Vue Highway Transmission did a very good job, and had my car up and running within two days which made me very satisfied because this was the only repair shop that was able to work on my type of vehicle they even sent a tow truck to pick my car up at no charge that also made me happy. I only gave this company three stars because I was told over the phone before my car was worked on that they would work with me on payment installments on paying for my repairs, once they're job was done within the hour I felt as if I was being harassed for payment they were calling me over and over for me to come pick the car up on the same day and wouldn't work with me with payments. I also was quoted $500 for repairs over the phone and ended up paying $2300 and I was told that I would have a two year warranty and only ended up with a 6 month warranty. From what I can tell this company gets very good business but they don't own up to they're words.

Highway Transmission was not liable for Ms. Hilda's case since the warranty on parts were expired. Despite this fact, she was given a refund of $650.00 dollars to keep in good terms with customers. Please do not defame the shop especially since we were not even obligated to refund any money whatsoever. Please check the official records at BBB or BAR to ensure our quality in service.

I went to take my truck in for transmission repair. I was quoted 700.00 over the pone for a used one, then after the diagnosis the price doubled. Okay,,,, I paid $1,349.00 for a used transmission only to get a thrity day warranty on the parts. This was in November 2007. February 2008 I take my clutch to get repaired, Mr. Kim wanted to charge me 375.00. I went to a different mechanic who charged 180.00, this mechanic weho repaired my clutch, informs me that my transmission bearings need to be replaced. I infomr Mr. Kim at Highway and he tells me thast a new clutch and a used transmission don't go together and that I should just give it a few weeks to catch up. My transmisisoin goes out again. Do not go to this place. Mr. Kim is dishonest
