This place is simply the best meal I've ever had. It's definitely a place to go to only on special occasions, because it's definitely not cheap. To this day, I still remember the Hamachi shots. For $20, you get 6 of these delicious shots, made with fresh fish and other garnishes. It's not what I expected at all. My second favorite has to be the fries. Sounds plain, but these fries are fried in truffle oil (I believe), which gives it a completely different, but incredibly delicious taste. Plus, the service is really good. My boyfriend and I went here for an anniversary and they served us champaign and a complementary cake. I can't wait to come back again.

My family and I had an early dinner at Alexanders over the weekend and it was an amazing dining experience. The inside of the restaurant is beautifully decorated and the service is impeccable. Knowledgeable wait staff explain menu items, the wine list, and any other questions you might have.
The food was ridiculously good. Steak house style with an asian twist worked wonderfully. Ever dish was brought out and explained to us: how it was made, what was used, and how best to eat it! I recommend the prime rib and any dessert item on the menu! Best of all, at the end they present the table with a cotton candy! I thought it was very charming.
I've been to many steakhouses before, and for the service, food, and dining experience I received at Alexander's, it was well worth the price!

An interesting steak house with a twist of Japanese cuisine.
Steaks are excellent and cooked to your preference perfectly. Desserts are awesome and plated beautifully.
If your lucky, you can get a tour and meet the chef and owner. The menu is $$$$ since all entrees, vegetable, and salads are priced separately.
