We had a great lunch at Mangia. Lots of lunch specials. I got the chicken philly cheesesteak. It was the best cheesesteak I've ever had! They have these great battered fries with a dipping sauce. Sooo good. My friends all got pizzas and loved them also. Our server was attentive and nice. Overall great experience.

I guess they are well know for their deep dish, stuffed crust, but I love their thin crust pizza! Their mangia fries are good when they are fresh - not the best for take out. I like to order waffle fries - they are not on the menu, but go great with the pizza! Reasonable prices, friendly staff, nice casual atmosphere.

I don't know where you people have had pizza that you think this is the best in Austin but it certainly isn't chicago. I would rather eat at pizza hut than eat here again. Nothing was good about it. Sauce was too sweet, canned mushrooms... just not good. Will not return. Ever!

Pros: None

Cons: The food (especially the pizza)

We visit Austin just for some Mangia. The pizza is freakin' awesome. On Valentine's they make heart shaped pizzas and brownies, and it's so cheesily romantic that we love it. The carnivore is my husband's favourite, and my favourite is the spinach. I can't say it enough: the place is AWESOME! Oh, did I mention that this pizza is great, if not better the next day. You don't even have to heat it up. YUM! Now we're gonna have to go to Austin!

Pick the thin crust or the stuffed pizza, both are delicious and you can't go wrong! They also have great daily specials.

I was excited to try Mangia since I fell in love with Chicago-style pizza while in Chicago, but this isn't Chicago-style pizza...or even good pizza. Not only was our pizza substandard (think Pizza Hut quality), but it took them over an hour to bring us our pizza and our drinks stayed unfilled while waiters and waitresses flirted with one another. For a chain-quality pizza, the prices are outrageous. My hunt for Chicago-style pizza continues since this is NOT it.

PROS:
CONS: poor quality, outrageous prices
