Roman Cucina is a really good Italian restaurant. They focus mainly on pasta dishes and do a great job. The sandwiches are also really good. It get a little crowded on the weekends. But what good restaurant doesn't?

Authentic, traditional style pasta dishes done well. The Chicken Fettucini Alfredo is particularly good. Great atmosphere in a great location in downtown Fullerton. An excellent selection of wines. Can't wait to go back.

Roman Cucina is a small but wonderful restaurant. When you enter you will notice the variety of italian decor and gorgeous chandeliers. The next thing you may notice is that all the wait staff are men. I'm not entirely sure why, but they are all reasonably handsome men.

The food is scrumptious. May favorite dish is the sausage mozzarella. The plates are big enough to share but not so much that you feel you could have fed a small army. They have a great wine selection at pretty reasonable prices and one night a week they offer half price on the bottles. The staff and management are very friendly and have no trouble handling a large group.

Its a quiet, friendly, atmosphere. And the kitchen is open until 11pm on the weekends. So if you're out to see some of the local theater in downtown Fullerton, Roman Cucina will probably still be open when you get out if you want a nice quiet place to be instead of all the hubbub at the other restaurants in the area.

We had such a wonderful dining experience on Sunday at Roman Cucina. The waiter Ryan was attentive and polite from the beginning to the end. We started with the sauted mushrooms...which melted in your mouth and the portion was large. We also had the Primavera which was light and yummy. There was a special going on that night....it was Penne Pasta with Sausage, Ricotta Cheese and Marinara Sauce....baked in the oven with Mozzarella on the top.....to die for. The bread was fresh, crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Not to mention the salad which comes with the meal.....the dressing was great...I would love the recipe. I would highly recommend having dinner here....the staff was all polite and upbeat....not to mention the decor was nostalgic.

Pros: Everything was Wonderful!!

Cons: The butter for the bread was in little packets....it would be nice to have a little dish with butter.

The food was delicious. I especially enjoyed the sauteed mushrooms and the veggie sandwich. A must in the downtown fullerton area.
