Star Nails & Spa

Received a gift card in Orange County. Tried to use is at the Riverside salon and was told that it didn't apply to them, they were separate, even though is states the address on the card. They also charged my credit card without my permission, they just want to get paid and customer service takes a back seat. I suggest that you go to a cheaper place.

I wish I could write a more positive review, but unfortunately it wouldn't match my experience! :( The lady who worked on my finger nails seemed to have an almost permanent frown...she worked in a frenzy as if fueled by the worst irritation. I think the worst part was how dirty the tools all looked. At a certain point I just couldn't watch anymore and prayed that I wouldn't get a fungal (or worse) infection. I probably should have stopped her and voiced my concern, but frankly I was afraid! My artificial nails started to lift the very next day & I had to go back to have them fixed.The lady who worked on my pedicure was much nicer. She was gentle, professional and seemed to try to do a good job. I was however still concerned about the cleanliness of the tools that were used. I noticed that they only used a bottle of dish detergent to clean the pedicure spa --shouldn't it be disinfected? I really hope to find a hygienic place with good customer service! Till then, I suppose I'll go with low-maintenance super-short finger nails and home pedicures...

I got a pretty good manicure and pedicure here, but I thought they were overpriced. I usually go to Tyler Ranch and get better service for a much better price. I'd go again in a pinch, but Star Nails isn't my first choice!
