This is a cool place to learn about earth science and is ultra cool when in the caves. Kids love the bats and water and the cool formations. They have anice gift shop (and more) and have a little golf course for fun. Not somethign you want to make a day of but great if you have a few hours to kill.

PROS: great for homeschoolers and science buff
CONS: off teh beaten track

This is a place to see. They have stalitites and stalmites inside the cave. It is a responsible price, and it is dark and damp, and it is a sight to see. If you get up near crystal cave, don't forget to stop in and see for yourself. This a a gift shop with reasonable prices, with hiking and different things, for the kids, to do, with the parents. This is a beautiful place. Alittle slippery going inside, but once you are inside, it is nice. Need to wear sneakers when going through the cave, as the inside gets slippery.

PROS: a beautiful place to see, at a reasonable price
CONS: slippery when entering the cave. Just watch your step.

While on vacation we stopped at Crystal Cave. We took a guided tour through the caves. We learned of their history and how they were formed. They have a minature golf course, gift store and snack bar.Great tourist attraction if you will be in the area.

I have heard about Crystal Cave for years and it was not a disappointment. Admission is very reasonable at $9.50 for adults and $6.00 for children (4-11). We visited the gift shop first, which had so many beautiful crystals and novelities from which to choose. The clerks there were very customer friendly and helpful too. Our guide that took us thru the cave was very knowledgeable and funny too. Miniature golf was average and the greens could have been in better shape, but it was still a fun thing to do as well. This would be a fun place for families to visit, but get there early in the day, so that you are able to visit all of the shops there, as they close at 4-5 p.m.

PROS: Gorgeous landscaped grounds.
CONS: Mini Golf could have been in better shape.
