Worst customer service experience I have ever had. Representative actually hung up the phone on me while I was still speaking/requesting help with an order. Envelopes.com is a much better choice, great customer service, excellent products, fair pricing.

I ordered an item online to be shipped to a PO Box out of state. It doesn't say anywhere on the website that they are unable to ship to PO Boxes. When I placed my order, I was contacted via email informing me that I needed to choose a physical address to ship to. I was unable to provide one as the PO Box is the only business address that I use. I was told that my order would be cancelled and I would be refunded.

Fast forward approx 4 weekdays later- I had not received a refund on my credit card or any follow-up email with a confirmation number to state the cancellation on record. I called and spoke to a guy (who sounded like a college kid that I had seriously annoyed by calling to bother him while at work- my apologies!!) who assured me that the order was cancelled. I asked for a confirmation number but he refused to provide one and was just very rude overall. I have never experienced such poor customer service. He told me to "chill out" when I had not raised my voice or spoken over him, and was simply requesting a piece of information that should have been provided to me to begin with.

Fast forward another 2 or 3 business days later: I STILL hadn't received a refund on my card and STILL hadn't gotten any sort of confirmation number via telephone or email. I send an email that was clear, polite and to-the-point explaining my situation again and requesting some sort of confirmation that this was even being handled. I received a generic, automated response back stating that the return would be issued. I finally saw the credit back on my card almost 2 weeks after cancelling this order, and after dealing with some bad customer service.

Let me remind you again: it doesn't say anywhere on the website that they do not ship to PO Boxes. If it had, I wouldn't have this issue to begin with! The items are overpriced anyway- I ended up purchasing the same enveloped on Party City's website for half the price and cheaper shipping. I won't ever be dealing with this company again.

As I am busy person not have enough time to go store to purchase required stuff so I always prefer to buy things online. Jampaper website is user friendly and I ordered some stationary products like binders, folders and note cards. I received my all products in well packaged manner within the specified time. Fast delivery and helpful staff. Love to shopping online from www.jampaper.com and surely recommend to my coworkers as well as my friends.

They never shipped my 'free' sample (which actually costs $3.25 to send USPS with a $0.44 stamp) order and the first time I called they never got back to me about refunding my $3.25. When I called again, they would not transfer me to a manager and after chekcing with a manager and the rude lady that had answered the phone insisted that she was in fact a manager.

It is clear that this company does not care about their customers. They obviously would prefer to have bad reviews than make a refund of $3.25.

The customer service representative was the rudest person I have every tried to conduct business with. She called my questions ridiculous, refused to let me speak with a manager, and then hung up on me twice! I called a different number and got the same disrespect from another "salesman." They may have a decent selection, but it is NOT worth it to put up with their clear lack of manners.

First of all - within the past month or so I ordered parchment cover 65# from JAM. The paper was EXACTLY what I wanted - beautiful, and more reasonably priced than from other vendors. Secondly, it arrived within a few days of the order. I have used it all, and wanted to reorder. (My original order was placed on-line.)

Here's the strange part: JAM could find no record of my original order (I had both the product and the shipping envelope right in front of me on their computer through either my name, address, UPS tracking, reference #, or credit card #. It looked as though I didn't exist.

I couldn't find the same cover paper on line this time, so I phoned their customer service rep., and although she was mystified (and so am I) she put in an order for 2 more pkg of the same product. She was never rude. All-in-all, except for my non-existence, it has been a very satisfactory experience. Clicking on and reading the reviews was quite astonishing. Mystery! It's a shame that Mr. Jacobs is turning customers away.

I've literally never taken the time to write a review of any business in my life. I ordered a product from jampaper.com that I wasn't satisfied with. The woman that I spoke with in customer service yelled at me and hung up on me twice. When I asked to be transfered to her boss she explained that he was standing next to her and was completely aware of how she was speaking to me. She was rude, NOT smart NOT helpful. I've never been spoken to in that manner by any person - let along a customer service agent. I would never recommend doing business with this company as their values and beliefs are obviously very off par.

Wow, wish I'd read this page before ordering from them. I placed a small order of red bubble mailers for a client promotion. I'm now trying to address them all, but I find that the stamps and mailing labels don't stick to the envelope. I literally tried everything I could think of including adding extra adhesives like glue dots and double-sided tape. Nothing worked. Everything peels up. I called their office and was told (rudely) to email from the web site.

The first response came from the infamous Michael Jacobs. A bit abrupt, but since he said he didn't know what I could possibly be talking about, I made a 40 second video showing him exactly my problem with the product they sold.

The second response was clearly condescending and offensive. Apparently they all got great enjoyment from my "show" and the only advice was to "press hard."

What utter CRAP. As if I haven't spent hours and hours "pressing" and needling the darn things. And they still do not stick.

I will never do business with them again.

Subsequently, I he sent me this response..."You need to answer my question so I can work a quote"....."you ask snap but then say handle. Decide what you want quote on and I will email quote." Just received the envelopes I ordered. They were the wrong color. When I called and spoke with customer service, I was first told that perhaps I had actually received the right color and just didn't recognize it because the Orchid was very light. Well, I'm not a genius, but I'm fairly confident I know the difference between Orchid and Pewter. After several minutes of questioning of "is it orchid or is it not," I was then given options for returning the envelopes so that they can confirm whether a mistake had been made -- and whether or not I will receive a refund or be charged a 20% restock fee. Let's consider this, by the time they admit their error (if indeed they even do) several days will have passed, Jam Paper will NOT have delivered the envelopes I ordered, and I will have been charged $50 to complicate my life. Oh and let's just disregard the fact that I paid for 3-day shipping because I really did need the envelopes which I obviously won't be receiving. Woo hoo!

UPDATE: I will be paying the 20% restock charge as they maintain that the envelopes I received were Orchid. In response, I sent .jpg images from the website comparing what I believe I received to what their website displays and suggested they update their website. The customer service rep then removed herself from the conversation. When I questioned her motives for doing so, I was met with this: "I just choose not to have a battle of the minds with someone unequipped." Thank heavens I have opposable thumbs or I'd really be in trouble.

I bought 200 5"x11.5" envelopes from them. They were badly shrink wrapped and dirty. As well, they were literally 1/16th bigger than advertised, so they all came back for insufficient postage. Jam paper is a waste of time and money!!!

Okay...so I'm taking the time to post a review because I'm that aggrivated with the service I received from jampaper.com and it says a lot that I'm spending time out of my day to write this! :)

When I contacted their website to receive a price quote I received a response that simply said, "This is not a job for us." when I emailed them back to inquire about their reasons for denying our requests. I was told by their customer service representative that it "just wasn't possible" The thing is, my request was 100 custom made boxes...which is essentially what their website stated they specialized in.

Mind you, I am not the type of person to raise my voice or swear at someone...

When I wrote a "review" on their website I received this email from Michael Jacobs:

"My question is ?? why are u looking for a new source ?? are u not happy with the way they treat you either ???
Maybe its you.
We want business ?? if we can not do the job why make up answers to you.
Do u get ignored a lot ???
Mellow out ?? I want work but only work I can do, NOT work u want me to do.
Let me guess ?? u are an intern ?? if so I forgive u."

What a mess, it's shocking to me that they are still in business considering they believe this is the correct way to deal with potential customers.

On behalf of the store itself, I'm sure it is very nice, and it sounds like they have wonderful products. However, I'm writing about their customer service agents-- the ones who answer the phones when you have a problem. I ordered several products from Jam Papers for my wedding invitations. I asked for 2-day shipping and did not get the products I ordered for 5 days. (I ordered on a Thursday and did not get them until Wednesday of the following week.) When I got the box, it had two gaping holes in the bottom of it. UPS dropped it off, and I didn't get a chance to sign for it. The products were packed in a very thin box that said "100 Envelopes" on the outside of it-- a manufacturer's box that shouldn't have been used to ship such a heavy order. On top of that, all of the products were not wrapped in bubble wrap or secured in ANY way. Horrible packing job!!! So, 75% of the order was ruined... with most of the paper and all of the envelopes bent. So, I called and was told by one of their customer service reps (Ann Marie) that "life happens." I asked what she was going to do about it, and she told me that it was UPS's fault. They refused to take any kind of ownership for the box being poorly packed and my $600 paper order being ruined. We wanted to get answers from them on how they could make it better. When my fiancee got on the phone and began to ask questions, they actually had the nerve to ask him if he was deaf-- they weren't going to take ownership! So, with no other options and NEVER wanting to do business with them again, we had UPS pick up the box 2 months ago to be investigated and still haven't heard anything from Jam Paper. Instead of ordering from Jam Papers again, we went with a company out of Illinois for our invitations called Envelope Mall (envelopemall.com). Great customer service at Envelope Mall, better prices, and they followed through with their promises. Don't use Jam Papers! If something goes wrong, you'll be sorry!!

But, I can't deal with his unethical behaivor or lies! Recently I went to the store, I had to put a large order of envelopes of a specific size and color along with corresponding stationary. I searched the net looking for folders for marketing for the company I work for. I called the company and Michael answered the phone. I could not finish one sentence. Michael was short and rude even though I tried to ask a simple question. Surprise... when I asked for a supervisor, he turned out to be the owner! Thank goodness I didn't place an order with him! Wow... you would think he would take more pride in himself and his company to not treat new customers in such an unprofessional manner!

They offer the best selection of paper and envelopes. I have been going to Jam Papers for years and have never had a bad experience. I love them. Note to the anonymous writer with the bad review... 2-3 days is a great turn around time. Sounds like you are a freak-out bride. Don't procrastinate next time.

I just got off the phone with owner Mike Jacobs of Jam Paper. I rush ordered 125 envelopes for my wedding. Jam Paper took three days to process the envelopes. I called to tell the company that I was disappointed, and I had expected the order to be processed in one day (for my extra $20 in shipping). The man I spoke to was rude, and I didn't believe him when he said that he would take the feedback to his supervisor (I asked him to put information on the website that says that orders may take 2-3 days to process). I called back to actually speak to a supervisor, since I didn't believe he would. The same guy picked up, I asked to speak to his supervisor, and he said that he was the owner, Mike Jacobs. He then told me to get a life, that he always deals with freak-out brides. I told him he was an arrogant New Yorker, and that was that. THEN, he called my cell phone and said "I'm just returning the favor," and hung up. What an invasion of my privacy and that is COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL and frankly scary! I am returning my order as a matter of principal.

His quote: "I don't care about small orders like you."

Update: Mike canceled my order and refunded me in full, including shipping. At least he did the right thing in the end.

They offer a wide selection of different types of paper and envelopes. It's a good place to go to if you need to make invitations. They also have albums and plastic covers to store your projects. The prices are cheaper than most of the art and craft stores that I've been to.

The selection's not as extensive or adorable as Kate's Paperie or those more upscale paper shops, but Jam Paper has an admirable array of containers, papers, journals, and what have you, at lower prices. And their sale prices are spectacular.

This store has a lot of envelopes. I mean a lot of envelopes. In just about every color, shape and size imaginable. I didn't even know they came in teeny tiny sizes. They are so cute. Like elves made them. They have envelopes that you most likely will not find anywhere else.
