The Christmas lights here are the only things worth seeing and I would recommend coming on an off peak night. We went on a Saturday night when you can only see the lights by hayride or horse and carriage. Before we stood in line for the hayride we decided to get some food. We ordered chicken strips for our kids and thankfully I tore them apart to let them cool only to find that they were still RAW!!! So needless to say we did not eat and got our money back. Then we went and stood in line for the hayride. 1 1/2 hours later I, my husband, and my 6 and 2 year olds finally got to get on the hayride. The lights were beautiful. After the hayride we wanted to go see Santa. Again there was a line but we waited about 30 minutes until an entire family of 20 cut in front of the line and that is when we left. There is no one to control the lines or anything. The food was horrible and overpriced. I would'nt waste your time, money, or sanity on this place.

We drove for over 1-1/2 hours (from Montgomery County) just to be turned away. Apparently this is the first year that you cannot drive through on "peak days" Well, if you have to drive as far as we do you probably cannot get there on the week days. This used to be an annual Christmas tradition with our grand-kids. Apparently not any more. Sounds like they are liking their money more than showing the lights off to the kids. Some people can't get out of their vehicles (my husband is in a wheel chair) to see the lights. THANKS A LOT PEOPLE.

This place is really great for families and children. It's become our family tradition for the past several years and the kids drive us crazy just to get there. The new LED lights and the Christmas village are really great. They show Christmas movies on a giant screen and they have great live music there. Everything is a Texas Christmas theme and they add new light displays every year. We loved the syncronized light display this past season. The price is not bad especially considering what you can do now days on a family budget. Christmas time comes once a year and the wonderland is certainly worth it to us, but they need a food court or something. They just added more parking finally and also added new bathrooms which have been long overdue. If you don't like crowds and long lines, then just go on almost any evening except Saturdays. That's the only time we've ever had to wait. Overall, this place is an amazing Christmas experience and the staff is extremely friendly and helps get you in the Christmas spirit. There's nothing else quite like this and You won't be disappoined!

We travel up to College Station from Houston to see the lights each year and love Santa's Town and the hayride thru Santa's Wonderland. There's just no possible way to see it all from your car. We were just there this past Monday evening, December 22nd and waited less than 5 minutes to catch the hayride. The secret to the best experience is to avoid the huge crowds on Saturday nights, unless that's your thing, but go when you can go and don't miss it. It's worth the money and it will definitely help put your family in the Christmas spirit. Yes, they need to improve the food situation, but thanks for more parking and those fancy restrooms, especially for the ladies!

Take the Hayride! I repeat, take the Hayride through the lights! The hayride is the most awesome way to see the lights. Far better than from your car. Cost more but totally worth it! My family & I visited last night (Sunday) and waited 5 minutes to take a hayride through the lights. Linda W. is referring to a few Saturday nights when the crowds are the largest, but we go every year and just avoid the busy nights. My kids love Santa's Town with the falling snow and all the great musical live entertainment. and we go every year. Thanks for finally improving the bathrooms and parking. Hopefully next year work on improving the dinning. Hey, Santa's Town and the hayride must be a great if so many are waiting to do it. Merry Christmas!!!

Stay in your car! I repeat--stay in your car! The $22 for the car show is great! The hayride at $9-11 per person is nice--if you like the 80 minute wait in line! And the village? $4-$6 admission--for what? To pay $4 per person for the petting zoo? $5 for the pony ride? $5 for a mechanical bull ride or to stand 45 minutes for way overpriced food.
The light display is absolutely superb!

Our family has visited the Santa's Wonderland for the last 10 years. Our kids are now 11 and have really enjoyed it each year. The lights are great but I would encourage you to take the hayride tour out of Santas Village through the lights. It adds to the experience. If you haven't been to Santas Village you are missing it. It is a GREAT way to get into the Christmas spirit. They have a snow blower that kids play in, a bon-fire you can sit around, mechanical bull and Elvis impersonator singing Christmas songs (he is excellent). Food is okay but a little pricey and I would eat dinner before you come but the Kettle corn there is good. Yes it can be a little costly to visit but I feel you get allot for your money especially after you spend 3 hours in Santas Village watching your kids experience a feeling that they will always remember and associate with the "spirit" of Christmas. I highly recommend the park and we have had our pictures taken with Santa there in Santa's Village for the last 5 years to mail with our Christmas cards. God Bless and may you have a blessed Christmas.

My family loves Santa's Wonderland! We go every year and
drive quite a distance to get there. We have been going every
since they opened 10 years ago, and we are always amazed at
the changes they make every year. Some things remain the same,
but hey, it wouldn't seem like Christmas without the "Reason for
the Season," which is the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. There must be over 3 million lights, and we say to each
other each year, "It just can't get any better," but each year they
top the one before. The people that own the place are the best,
and cannot do enough to make their customer's happy. Hey, I
don't want to forget to tell you about "Santa's Town." There is live
music and food, a petting zoo for the children, a Texas Santa and
shops that sell some wonderful merchandise. I could go on and
on, but I have run out of space, so y'all will have to go see for
yourself. I promise...You'll love it!

My kids and my family LOVED our visit to Santa's Wonderland!!! We drove up from Tomball on a Saturday evening and it was our first time to visit. Yes, the place was quite busy and the lines in a few places were long, but my 5yr old and 8yr old were truly AMAZED! We've NEVER scene anything like this for the holidays. We went into Santa's Town and did the hayride-AWESOME!!! We also ate at the little cafe, set by the fireplace and watched the movie "Christmas Story". Both kids rode the ponys and the mechanical-bull! We even had a family picture made with that Texas Santa. We all love this place!!! We highly recommend it and It's DEFINITELY worth the money!

While recently reuniting with my new-found Texas cousin we visited Santa's Wonderland in College Station, TX.
Being from the North and first spotting a mechanical bull at the park I got that feeling I was in for a true Texas Christmas experience.
YEP - I found myself sitting on bails of hay, listening to live entertainment; behind me children giggling as it was "snowing" and the smell of chuck-wagon cooking in the air - could it get any better that that? YES - a hayride through a very creative and diverse display of lights, lights and more lights. Santa, shops, food, movies, live entertainment, petting zoo, light displays; (keep your eyes on the boot spurs at the park entryway).
There's something for everyone. Well worth the time and money. If I lived closer this would be a yearly family Christmas-time must do.

It's $20 per car for the drive-through, which was worth seeing my daughter's (a 2 year old) excitement over the light displays. We didn't go into the village, which can only be entered with an admission fee. It looked really small too, so it didn't seem worth it. I don't know if we'd go back though. It doesn't seem like they change up the displays from year to year.

Santas Wonderland is a HUGE drive-through annual display of over 1 million Christmas lights! This has been a huge hit and tradition for our family. The display includes several themed areas to enjoy. . . Texas A&M, caroling, the Biblical story, and of course, Santa! Hay rides and hot cocoa are offered as well, which add to the experience. Santas Wonderland is open from the beginning of November through the beginning of January.
