Although this store does provide a great plethora of sustainable and eco-friendly goods for your home, I found the merchandise over-priced and the service mediocre at best.

I have been spending months researching eco-friendly products to decorate and furnish my home and many of the things I found were at Living Green, but at a higher price. For example, the Mrs. Meyer's cleaning products they sold can be bought for a few dollars less at any Bed, Bath and Beyond! (And that's without B, B & B's great coupons.)

Many of the products I had gone in there to buy was out of stock. They kept mentioning that they were going to order more, but it was frustrating when item after item was not available at the time.

Additionally, the service was poor. All I asked for was a quart of black paint. Apparently I was lucky because they only had two quarts of paint left. However, the first one was mixed in the wrong finish and the second mixed badly and turned out gray. It's been two days and I am still waiting for the (same-day) refund they promised me.

It seemed like a promising store, but with a little research I'm positive you can find the same products at a lower price and better service elsewhere.

Sustainably harvested teak, and probably other fsc (forrest stewardship council) woods crafted into fine furniture. Also tile, flooring, non toxic paints and wallcoverings, books, all natural cleaning supplies
