4 Stars: Emerald Hills Golf Course (by Fay M.)

A friend and I have taken group golf lessons at Emerald Hills 3 times in the past 5 years. The instructors have been excellent for beginners like us. There is a putting green surrounded by several holes for chipping practice, as well as a cage for practice swings. Each set of lessons ends with the group going out and playing a round of 9 on the full course. I highly recommend this course for people who want to give golf a try.

4 Stars: This is a fun course. (by Ryan J.)

Unlike mariners point, this has more variety in the holes. This place has more incline, hills, trees and other things to make this course seem more authentic. It could be better kept than it is though. But for golf enthusiasts, it should be worth your while. Another plus side is that this place never seems too crowded so you wont have to be waiting too long to tee off.

4 Stars: A well-kept secret - a cute 9 hole course (by Brenda K.)

This par 3 course is a well-kept valley secret. Greens fees are reasonable, it is only 9 holes so you can actually play a quick game, and it is set in the hills - in a beautiful environment. It is not crowded, and also has both a driving range and putting practice area.

The instructors here are very good, and it is a great place to learn to play or to hone your skills. It does have some challenge - but for the most part, driving distance is short.

PROS: Nice hideaway
CONS: Small course
