We came here last year for the first time and we're planning a trip back this fall. It was great fun picking your own berries, pumpkins and apples. You can get a wagon to pull the kids around because you do some walking here. They have a great gift store with wonderful goodies. They have lots of activities for the kids, too, like pony rides, music and more. We all had a blast.

Located just minutes from beautiful Point Breeze, and about 35 minutes from Batavia, you can start your adventure at Brown's Berry Patch with berry picking at its best. Take one of the wagons and your choice of basket (there is a small charge - cents - but you are encouraged to bring them back each time you come to pick) - make your way to whatever part of the orchards or patches you are picking from - and watch for the little flags to let you know where the best picking is! Then, come back to the comfortable Country Market area to enjoy lunch (subs, salads) and an ice cream sundae - completely homemade including the waffle dish! Here you can also find homemade jellies, jams, sauces, pies, fresh picked fruits and vegetables for purchase. There is a gift shop, too, which has everything from marbles and other old fashioned and contemporary toys, to retro candy and beautiful unique gifts. Outside, you will find the "grill" counter -open after 2:00 p.m. There is the "Barnyard Adventure" for kids ages 2-12 ($3.50 per child). They can play all day : climbing on the jungle gym/slide, rolling in the silo with bales of hay, digging sand with a kid-friendly articulated bucket, finding their way through (or getting lost in) the rope maze, and feeding the friendly goats in the "Petting" farm. (There is a great "wash up" area at the exit. ) Brown's features their "Birthday Bash" parties for kids, group tours, and in October, they have Pumkins and an amazing corn maze. Don't forget your AAA card - they give discounts on the fruit and honey purchases. This place is a gem and well worth the trip!
