Dr. Robert Gallee and Associates

I first went to this practice in Sept' 06 when I found out I was pregnant.
I saw one of Dr. Gallee's associates & was immediately treated horribly.
I was only 5 wks. at the time & the dr. was just full of negative things to say & seemed to only want to schedule internal ultrasounds 1 or 2 times a week. I left every visit in tears & was told by this dr. if there was a problem, she would do NOTHING to help this pregnancy along.
I requested to see Dr. Gallee & had hoped for a better experience. At first, it was....although we learned we would lose our little one.
While still going through the loss, I saw the dr. & told him how horrible I felt & his reaction was " well I told you it would be uncomfortable".."sounds like you passed everything" ..(I decided not to have surgery & miscarried at home)
( he did not order an U/S to make sure it was complete)he also added .." well, you did it your way". Later that night I ended up in the ER with a raging fever & infection. I phoned his office the next day......and have not heard back since....that was 9 months ago!!!!! and am still waiting for a return call about an ultrasound pic that shows the baby, that I would like to have. Last week I did however get a bill for $2.00 for a co-pay....that I paid on my very first visit. Unbelievable.

Dr. Gallee bought the practice from my old OB when he retired. Both my daughters and I go to him. He is very alert to anything out of the ordinary, errs on the side of caution like I do, and is compassionate. He works with public aid, too I believe. His wife is his bookkeeper, so it is truly a family business. I like it when the nurse asks me how many years young I am.

PROS: COMPASSIONATE, CONCERNED, CAREFUL
CONS: NONE
